Abstract

The incidence of hypertension is one of the number one causes of death globally which requires good control. WHO estimates the global prevalence of hypertension at 22%, in Indonesia the prevalence of hypertension in the elderly is 55.2% at the age of 55-41, 63, 2% at the age of 64-72 years and above. The incidence of hypertension in the city of batam was 42,496 cases. The incidence of hypertension is caused by several factors, one of which is sleep quality, sodium and fat consumption. This study aims to determine the relationship between sleep quality, sodium and fat consumption with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly in the Batu Aji Health Center Working Area, Batam City in 2023. This research design uses cross sectional. This study was conducted on elderly people aged more than 60 years and amounted to 67 samples. The sampling technique used probability sampling, namely random sampling. The results of the Chi-Square Test test obtained the value of sleep quality ((p value) = (0.002 < 0.05), sodium consumption (p value) = (0.004 < 0.05), fat consumption (p value) = (0.001 < 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between sleep quality, sodium and fat consumption with the incidence of hypertrension in the elderly. The results of this study can be used as knowledge for the elderly to avoid precipitating factors of hypertension, especially sleep quality and avoid consumption of foods containing sodium and fat.

The nutrition of pregnant women needs attention because it greatly affects the development of the fetus they contain. The impact that arises from pregnant women who experience balanced nutrition deficiencies are exposure to Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED), Anemia and babies born prematurely and babies born with low weight (LBW). This study aims to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge in implementing balanced nutrition and nutritional status of pregnant women at the Kute Siantan Health Center in 2023 with a cross sectional design. The number of pregnant women in the study were 35 people with a total sampling. The results of the study showed that the mother's knowledge of implementing balanced nutrition was sufficient, namely 45.7%. The nutritional status of the mother is good nutrition 57.1%. The results of the chi-square statistical test showed that there was a relationship between mother's knowledge in implementing balanced nutrition and nutritional status of pregnant women at the Kute Siantan Health Center with a p-value of 002≤0.05. The conclusion of the study, the mother's nutritional status is adequate and the mother's knowledge is quite good. The research implications shown by the Kute Siantan Health Center are expected to empower cadres in providing information about balanced nutrition and monitoring the nutritional status of pregnant women by collaborating with family members, especially husbands, parents and siblings.

Abstract

Abstract: Respiratory Distress Syndrome is a neonatal morbidity that often occurs throughout the world, the prevalence of RDS reported from several countries is 18.5% in France, 4.24% in Pakistan and 20.5% in China, in Indonesia the cause of considerable mortality in the neonatal period in 2022 conditions of Low Birth Weight (LBW) (28.2%) and Asphyxia by (25.3%). and babies admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the time of the study were 5 babies and on average with diagnoses of RDS, LBW and Hypoglycemia. and babies admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) room at the time of the study were 5 babies and on average with diagnoses of RDS, LBW and Hypoglycemia. After carrying out nursing care, it is hoped that the author can apply nursing care comprehensively and according to nursing care standards with the application of the Quarter prone position in RDS (Respiratory Distress Syndrom) patients in maintaining the stability of Respiratory Rate and Oxygen Saturation Application of Quarter prone position in RDS (Respiratory Distress Syndrom) patients in maintaining the stability of Respiratory Rate and Oxygen Saturation in the NICU Room. This research is descriptive research with a case study approach. And the results of this study showed an increase in Respiratory Rate and oxygen saturation (SpO2), as well as a decreased pulse rate, decreased shortness of breath, improved breathing frequency and decreased use of breathing muscles. The quarter prone position is very influential for training breathing and cardiovascular and this position is recommended to stabilize Respiratory rate and oxygen saturation. Keywords: Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Quarter Prone position, Respiratory Rate, Oxygen Saturation
