Abstract

Performance in a health agency greatly influences health programs. Performance also really needs to be paid attention to in an organizational or program activity, one of which is the Healthy Indonesia Program with a Family Approach (PISPK) activity, which is one of the programs prioritized in current health development. The aim of the research is the factors that influence the performance of officers in implementing the Healthy Indonesia Program with a Family Approach in the Pekanbaru Community Health Center Work Area. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional design. The research population was PISPK officers, a sample of 65 people using a total sampling technique. Data processing was carried out using computerization and analyzed univariately, bivariately and multivariately. The research results showed that 47.7% of respondents had poor performance, 38.5% had never received training, 53.8% had worked for 1-5 years, 46.2% had transactional leadership, 44 had not received awards, 6%, 41.5% had a low workload, 56.9% were dissatisfied with their work and 64.6% had low work motivation. The bivariate results obtained showed a relationship between training (p.value = 0.019), length of service (p.value < 0.017), and workload (p.value = 0.020), unrelated variables namely leadership (p.value = 0.112), rewards (p.value = 0.182), incentives (p.value = 0.687) and motivation (p.value = 0.807), and workload are the dominant factors related to the performance of health workers in implementing the Healthy Indonesia Program with a Family Approach. It is hoped that the Local Health Center will provide incentives according to the specified time and provide bonuses to health workers.Keywords: Performance, Healthy Indonesia Program with a Family Approach

Abstract

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic disease with an increasing prevalence in Indonesia and globally. Complications from T2DM have serious impacts on the quality of life for patients. The increase in the number of complications in T2DM patients at Selasih Regional Hospital, Pelalawan Regency, is the main issue in this research. The study aims to identify risk factors associated with complications in T2DM patients at Selasih Regional Hospital, Pelalawan Regency. The research design used is a case-control study with a sample of 400 patients (200 cases and 200 controls). Cases are T2DM patients with complications, while controls are T2DM patients without complications. Case and control samples were taken using a systematic random sampling method. Data were collected from the medical records of Selasih Regional Hospital in 2023. Data analysis was conducted using chi-square tests and multiple logistic regression. The results showed that high cholesterol (OR=206.46), duration of DM (OR=79.62), high blood pressure (OR=22.54), and irregular check-ups (OR=4.43) were significantly associated with T2DM complications. Interventions to control cholesterol and blood pressure and to increase routine check-ups can reduce the risk of T2DM complications. Therefore, there is a need for increased education and health promotion programs from the hospital regarding diabetes management to prevent the occurrence of T2DM complications.

Abstract

At the Sidomulyo Health Center the incidence of dengue fever were 256 cases from 2017 to 2021. The purpose of research was find  factors that influence the incidence of dengue fever in Sidomulyo Health Center working area. The method of research is quantitative with a case control study design, the interviews with structured way. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate, multivariate with multiple logistic regression analysis. The results showed the presence of garbage affected 2.3 times (95% CI: OR = 1.06–5.15) the incidence of dengue fever compared to no garbage, the presence of confounding waste on the presence of Aedes aegypti larvae, used mosquito net on ventilation, nap habits, and garden plants affected 2 times (95% CI: OR=1.30-3.10) the incidence of dengue fever when compared with no garden plants. It can be concluded that necessary to strengthen environmental health programs to eradicate waste and provide health education to peoples about nap habits against dengue fever, kill the Aedes aegypti larvae, used mosquito net on ventilation, and replace the plants with Aedes aegypti mosquito repellent.Keywords: Dengue Fever, Garbage, Aedes Aegypti
