Abstract

One of the causes of failure among novice entrepreneurs in the first five years of running their businesses is the lack of successful financial management. The goal of the activity Community Service is to educate novice entrepreneurs to have good financial literacy by conducting Smart Saving and Financial Recording Training using Financial Recording Applications for MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). The implementation method of community service activities involves various activities such as lectures, discussions, case studies, and practical exercises like making envelopes packaged as games to make it more enjoyable for participants. Initially, novice entrepreneurs were unfamiliar with business bookkeeping and were not accustomed to saving and investing for their business development. However, after receiving training in business bookkeeping and smart saving, they were able to improve their business records using the SiApik application. Moreover, they began planning their business development by saving and investing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the impact of Entrepreneurship Education and the Family Environment on Entrepreneurial Intention, considering that account the mediating role of religiosity. Increasing Entrepreneurial Intention is an important factor in generating new entrepreneurs, notably in facing financial and social issues in global competition. Therefore, this study intends to dig deeper into what are the critical factors that can influence Entrepreneurial Intention. This study adopted a quantitative approach and involved 162 respondents from multiple educational and religious backgrounds. This research analysis adopts the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. This research has important effects in the perspective of entrepreneurship education and policy development. It is hoped that the findings of this study can offer practical suggestions for educational institutions, families and the government in increasing Entrepreneurial Intention through the effective role of entrepreneurship education, a conducive family environment, and the growth of the religious dimension.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is still the key to boosting economic growth in Indonesia, even in a crisis. Several agricultural business owners have currently transformed their business into a social enterprise based on community empowerment in their local regions. Social entrepreneurship is seen as a determining factor for the agricultural sector to grow consistently even during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research aims to determine how social entrepreneurship is implemented in the agricultural sector during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Bandung area. This study aims to determine and describe the application of social entrepreneurship criteria in the agricultural sector, especially in mushroom cultivation during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Bandung area. This study aims to identify and describe what factors determine the success in applying the criteria of social entrepreneurship. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the application of social entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector in the Bandung area had met the five criteria of social entrepreneurship involving social mission, empowerment, ethical business principles, social impact, and business sustainability.
