<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Stres akademik adalah kegelisahan yang dirasakan oleh mahasiswa karena tuntutan akademik yang ditunjukkan lebih besar daripada kemampuan mereka. Mahasiswa membutuhkan suatu kekuatan untuk menghadapi berbagai stressor agar bisa bertahan saat mengalami kesulitan dan dapat mengatasi stres dalam menyelesaikan skripsi. Dalam hal ini adversity quotient memiliki peranan yang sangat diperlukan oleh mahasiswa untuk menanggulangi berbagai macam penyebab stress yg mana adversity quotient memiliki kapabilitas kepada individu untuk mengatasi dan mampu menghadapi setiap persoalan guna mengatasi tekanan yang dialami individu tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh adversity quotient terhadap stress akademik mahasiswa rantau yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi di UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 305 mahasiswa dengan kriteria mahasiswa rantau UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan proses analisis data regresi sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tingkat stres akademik mahsiswa berada dalam kategori sedang dengan presentase 70,2%, dan tingkat Adversity quotient mahasiswa berada dalam kategori sedang dengan presentase 75,4%. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis product moment pearson menggunakan program Windows SPSS 26, Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis sederhana yang diperoleh persamaan Y = 141,254 – 0,507 X. Hasil Uji t didapatkan t hitung = 5.470 > t table = 1.967 dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa H₀ ditolak dan Ha diterima. Nilai korelasi mencapai 0,300 dan R Square sebesar 0.090 atau sebesar 9% berarti bahwa variabel adversity quotient mempengaruhi stress akademik mahasiswa rantau yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi di UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Sebesar 91% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain diluar kajian ini. Kata kunci: Adversity Quotient, Stres Akademik, Mahasiswa Rantau. ABSTRAC Academic stress is anxiety felt by students because academic demands are shown to be greater than their abilities. Students need a strength to deal with various stressors so they can survive when experiencing difficulties and can overcome stress in completing their thesis. In this case adversity quotient has a role that is needed by students to cope with various kinds of causes of stress which adversity quotient have the capability to the individual to overcome and be able to face every problem in order to overcome the pressure experienced by the individual. This study aims to determine the influence adversity quotient on the academic stress of overseas students who are working on their thesis at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. The subjects in this study were 305 students with the criteria of overseas students at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung who were working on their thesis. The method used is a quantitative method with a simple regression data analysis process. The results show that the level of student academic stress is in the moderate category with a percentage of 70.2%, and the level of student adversity quotient is in the moderate category with a percentage of 75.4%. The results of hypothesis testing using analysis product moment pearson using programs windows SPSS 26, This can be seen from the simple analysis results obtained by the equation Y = 141.254 – 0.507 X. The t test results obtained t count = 5,470 > t table = 1,967 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. It shows that H₀ was rejected and Ha was accepted. The correlation value reached 0.300 andR Square of 0.090 or 9% means that variable adversity quotient affecting the academic stress of overseas students who are working on their thesis at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung.
