Abstract

Nowadays, the use items made from glass and plastic has increased, causing accumulation. One of them is Bakung landfill in Bandar Lampung which accommodates 1,000 tons per day. Accumulating glass and plastic waste has caused various environmental problems. This research was carried out as form of technological innovation and effort to preserve environment due to this waste. The research purpose is finding environmentally friendly concrete formula by substituting glass waste and PET plastic but have characteristics that comply with SNI standards. Each material that makes up the concrete is tested for its characteristics so that normal concrete mix design can be carried out. Glass waste and PET plastic are substituted at 10%, 15%, and 25% into coarse and fine aggregate formulations in normal concrete formula, thereby creating variations in test specimen. The concrete sample has made in cube with dimensions of 15 x 15 x 15 cm. Concrete compressive strength tests were carried out at 7, 14, 21 and 28 days. Compressive results strength test showed that variations in substitute materials in concrete have effect on resulting compressive strength. Concrete test results with 10% and 15% substitution have compressive strength values that was close to each other and higher than 25% substitution. Even though the two compositions have close compressive strength values, they have different standard deviations. The standard deviation values for 10% and 15% substitution have 35.9913 and 23.1299. So, concrete with 15% substitution composition was the most optimal composition because it showed most dominant advantage among others.

Abstract

Education in the digital era demands the application of innovative learning methods to enhance effectiveness and student engagement. This research aims to design the workflow of an e-learning application that integrates the blended learning model, with a focus on SMA Nurcahaya as a case study. The blended learning model combines face-to-face instruction with online learning, providing flexibility in the teaching and learning process and leveraging technology to enhance the student learning experience. The research methodology includes needs analysis, system design, and e-learning development. Needs analysis was conducted through surveys and interviews with teachers and students to identify specific needs and challenges. Based on these findings, the design and development of the e-learning system incorporated features such as interactive learning materials, discussion forums, online quizzes, and progress tracking. The design process utilized the latest technology to ensure optimal performance and accessibility. The design was evaluated by assessing its effectiveness in meeting the needs of SMA Nurcahaya and its ability to support the teaching and learning process while increasing student engagement. The evaluation results indicated that this e-learning design is effective in boosting learning motivation and facilitating access to learning materials. The research concludes that an e-learning design with a blended learning model can be an effective solution for improving the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

Linguistics is divided into two categories: macro linguistics and micro linguistics. Macro linguistics is divided into three categories: psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, and ethnography. Micro linguistics is divided into several categories, including morphology, phonetics, phonology, syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics, and pragmatics. The goal of this study is to discover and analyze the many types of conversational implicature and maxim violations in Raya and The Last Dragon. Don Hall and Carloz López Estrada directed Raya and The Last Dragon, which was released in 2021. The descriptive qualitative method was employed to perform this research. The authors used Yule's theory (1996) to examine the different types of conversational implicature and the maxim of politeness. In cooperative principles, there are four maxims and two types of conversational implicature. The findings of this study show that: (1) In Raya and The Last Dragon, there are two types of conversational implicature; generic and particularized. Generalized conversational implicature is the most common type of conversational implicature seen in Raya and The Last Dragon. (2) There are six maxims as seen in Raya and The Last Dragon: maxim of wisdom, award, generacy, sympathy, consensus, and humility. The maxim of award is the most common maxim in Raya and The Last Dragon. Keywords: Conversational Implicature, Maxim, Movie
