Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam mengembangkan sikap toleransi peserta didik di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pendekatan penelitian berupa fenomenologi. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analis model Miles dan Huberman dengan melalui 3 tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru telah melakukan berbagai upaya dalam mengembangkan sikap toleransi kepada siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura sehingga peserta didik normal dan berkebutuhan khusus mendapatkan kesempatan dan hak yang sama dalam memperoleh pendidikan. Dari penelitian tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa strategi guru dalam menanamkan sikap toleransi peserta didik di sekolah tersebut adalah dengan: penyusunan RPP, memberikan nasihat atau teguran kepada peserta didik, menjadi contoh atau teladan dalam berperilaku, menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok dalam pembelajaran, dan membiasakan semua peserta didik untuk saling berbaur melalui kegiatan rutin sekolah tanpa membeda-bedakan mereka.

Abstract

This research aims to describe teachers' strategies for developing students' attitudes of tolerance at SMPIT AL-Anis Kartasura. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative research type, with a research approach in the form of phenomenology. The data in this research was obtained using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Next, the data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model analytical technique through 3 stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion. The results of this research show that teachers have made various efforts to develop an attitude of tolerance towards students at SMPIT AL-Anis Kartasura so that regular students and students with special needs have the same opportunities and rights in obtaining education. From this research, it was concluded that the teacher's strategy in instilling an attitude of tolerance in students at the school was by preparing lesson plans, giving advice or warnings to students, being an example or role model in behavior, using group discussion methods in learning, and familiarizing all students with to mingle with each other through routine school activities without differentiating between them.

Abstract

In the field of education, school branding is a complex phenomenon that has many aspects. Therefore, the principal needs to have skills in improving school branding in order to be able to face increasingly tight competition. This study aims to describe the role of the principal and the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the branding of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kartasura. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach including field research. The results of the study indicate that the role of the principal in improving school branding includes: The principal ensures that the school account is running well. The principal maintains communication with the school, parents of students, and alumni. The principal improves the quality of teachers. The principal improves facilities and infrastructure. Supporting factors in improving school branding include: Professional teachers. Positive school culture. The inhibiting factors include: Lack of funding and the presence of competitors in the school's environmental zone.

Abstract

Today's education has increasingly seen moral decadence and loss of social values.  One of the most urgent is bullying. In line with that, the role of moral education is needed, because morals are the benchmark of a nation both in civilization and progress. Islamic morals are known as akhlaqul karimah, namely noble behavior or morals, namely behavior or character in accordance with the Qur'an and Hadith which are the main sources of religious law. Similar to Hamka's moral education which focuses on reason and akhlaqul karimah. In connection with this, this research is intended to be able to find answers from the analysis of Buya Hamka's moral education thoughts contained in his writings as a preventive effort from bullying behavior. This research was conducted using the library research method or literature study as the basis for this research. Literature studies that become references are from the book 'Philosophy of Life and Akhlaqul Karimah' and other works that intersect with Buya Hamka and the results of previous studies in the form of journals as other sources. Since this is the core of all behavior, the results of studies that provide insight into the virtues of all people are very important for their daily lives. It will be easier for people to get along and develop a great human personality if the origins of this trait are understood, along with the difficulties they face, so that they can place their temperament in the right position. The values that humans develop truly originate from within, and if disturbed, the situations within humans are not much different from how they are dealt with in the human body. Therefore, it is important to understand this in order to find a solution quickly. After that, virtue is used to name the basic nature of all thoughts. 'Iffah, Shaja'ah, 'Adaalah, and Hikmah are these qualities.

Dari penelitian tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa strategi guru dalam menanamkan sikap toleransi peserta didik di sekolah tersebut adalah dengan: penyusunan RPP, memberikan nasihat atau teguran kepada peserta didik, menjadi contoh atau teladan dalam berperilaku, menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok dalam pembelajaran, dan membiasakan semua peserta didik untuk saling berbaur melalui kegiatan rutin sekolah tanpa membeda-bedakan mereka.
