Abstract

This classroom action research aims to increase students' interest in learning in class VII at junior high school level. The school used as the treatment site was SMPN 8 Tanjung Jabung Timur. This is based on a lack of interest in studying arts and culture because of online learning which was previously carried out in elementary schools and only assignments were given via WhatsApp messages. The use of multimedia technology used in this PTK is the use of wordwall. This research uses the classroom action research method, which is better known as classroom action research. In the research subject class, the number of participants was 16 students in class VII at junior high school level. The instrument for this research is a descriptive teacher assessment journal. After implementing it in cycle one for 4 meetings, it was found from the results of the teacher's assessment journal that students' interest in learning increased as indicated by indicators of interest in learning, namely feelings of happiness, student interest, student attention, student involvement. Therefore, this classroom action research has been said to have succeeded in achieving the target in the implementation of one cycle.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran seni musik bernyanyi lagu daerah secara unisono melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan mulai dari merencanakan pembelajaran, melaksanakan, observasi dan refleksi, yang dilakukan dari siklus I sampai siklus II dan seterusnya sampai diperoleh rekomendasi, hasil belajar peserta didik dan daya serap klasikal peserta didik pada siklus belajar terakhir tuntas. Subyek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Kerinci. Jumlah peserta didik kelas VIII yang diteliti sebanyak 16 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari tanggal 07 Januari 2023 – 05 Februari 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran seni musik materi bernyanyi lagu daerah secara unisono mengalami peningkatan, mulai dari siklus I ke siklus II, Hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan selama menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Peningkatan hasil belajar tampak pada jumlah peserta yang mencapai KKM bertambah banyak dan meningkat sebesar 32,14%. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar di siklus I sebesar 71,66 dan pada siklus II rata- rata hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 85,69. Kemudian tanggapan dan sikap peserta didik terhadap model problem based learning yang diterapkan sangat positif.
