Abstract

Direct learning, or direct instruction is a very effective approach in teaching explicit concepts and skills, especially for students who need more intensive guidance. The questioning skills approach adds value in hands-on learning by encouraging active interaction between teachers and students. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach through the literature study method. The main sources of data for this article are research articles and books that are relevant to the focus of the research. Articles are searched online in various scientific journals that are indexed on google scholar. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study are that the influence of questioning skills on learning outcomes is very significant. Effective communication through questions can improve students' understanding of the material, increase learning motivation, and develop critical and creative thinking skills. Overall, the integration between hands-on learning strategies and questioning skills creates a comprehensive and effective teaching method, which not only improves academic achievement but also builds students' character and skills that are essential for their future. Thus, the application of direct learning strategies using the questioning skills approach is highly recommended to improve the quality of education and student learning outcomes, making them better prepared to face various challenges in the future

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of character education and learning discipline on student learning outcomes at the elementary school (SD) level. Character education is one of the strategic approaches to shaping students' attitudes, values, and morals, while learning discipline plays an important role in creating consistent and structured learning habits. The method used is a literature review by analyzing various relevant sources of previous research. The source comes from Google Scholar data, namely articles published until the end of 2024. The data was analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results of the study show that character education has a positive impact on the formation of positive attitudes of students, such as responsibility, honesty, and cooperation, which directly supports the improvement of learning outcomes. On the other hand, learning discipline has been proven to improve concentration, time management, and student motivation in learning. The combination of effective character education and good learning discipline makes a significant contribution to the achievement of optimal learning outcomes. Thus, this study suggests the importance of integrating character education in the curriculum and habituating learning disciplines from an early age to support the success of student learning at the elementary level

Abstract

Character education is one of the strategic approaches to shaping students' attitudes, values, and morals, while learning discipline plays an important role in creating consistent and structured learning habits. This research aims to analyze the influence of character education and learning discipline on student learning outcomes at the elementary school level. The method used in this study is a literature review by analyzing various relevant previous research sources. Data analysis is carried out by identifying, classifying, and evaluating findings related to character education, learning discipline, and student learning outcomes, which are then synthesized into a conclusion. The results of the study show that character education has a positive impact on the formation of positive attitudes in students, such as responsibility, honesty, and cooperation, which directly supports the improvement of learning outcomes. Learning discipline has also been proven to enhance concentration, time management, and student motivation in learning. The combination of effective character education and good learning discipline significantly contributes to achieving optimal learning outcomes. This research suggests the importance of integrating character education into the curriculum as well as habituating learning discipline from an early age to support the success of student learning at the elementary school level

Abstract

Artikel ini meninjau perjalanan psikologi perkembangan dan bimbingan peserta didik dari masa kanak-kanak hingga usia lanjut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami karakteristik perkembangan pada setiap tahapan kehidupan dan bagaimana bimbingan dapat disesuaikan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan spesifik pada setiap tahap. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis literatur, temuan menunjukkan bahwa setiap tahapan perkembangan memiliki kebutuhan unik yang memerlukan pendekatan bimbingan yang berbeda. Pada masa kanak-kanak, fokus bimbingan adalah pada pengembangan kognitif dan sosial. Selama masa remaja, bimbingan diarahkan pada pembentukan identitas dan pemahaman diri. Pada masa dewasa, perhatian utama adalah pada karier dan kehidupan pribadi, sementara pada usia lanjut, dukungan psikososial dan kesehatan mental menjadi prioritas. Artikel ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan holistik dan berkelanjutan dalam bimbingan pendidikan untuk mendukung perkembangan optimal peserta didik sepanjang hidup. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya kolaborasi antara psikolog, pendidik, dan pembimbing dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pertumbuhan individu. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi bimbingan yang efektif dan adaptif untuk berbagai konteks perkembangan.
