Abstract

This article is about the process and development of an audio podcast series titled "Podcast Komunikasi", driven by the recognition of communication science's pivotal role in contemporary society. Traditional educational media often struggle to effectively engage learners in this dynamic field, prompting the exploration of podcasting as an innovative learning medium. The primary objective is to bridge the gap between academic research and practical application, offering valuable insights into communication theory, practice, and trends for students and professionals. The "Podcast Komunikasi" aims to harness the popularity and accessibility of podcasts as a unique platform for communication science education. The content will be meticulously researched through a multidisciplinary approach that combines communication science expertise with podcast production skills to identify key topics and themes within the field. This ensures that the episodes are informative, relevant, and engaging. A collaborative team comprising communication experts, podcast producers, and audio engineers will work cohesively to script, record, and edit each episode, guaranteeing high-quality production and effective delivery of the subject matter. The podcast's accessibility will be enhanced by incorporating storytelling techniques and expert interviews, making it appealing to a diverse audience. The ultimate goal of this project is to publish the podcasts on platforms such as Anchor and Spotify. In conclusion, this initiative seeks to create an innovative and accessible medium for learning about communication science. The "Podcast Komunikasi" aspires to expand knowledge, encourage practical applications, and foster a thriving community of communication science enthusiasts by integrating research, expert collaboration, and compelling storytelling

Abstract

Agility art contest tradition of sheep Garut is the hereditary tradition that used to be known as the tradition of Buffalo sheep, where both the lamb must still compete until one of them dead to find who the winner. However, over time, farmers began to realize that different arrowroot sheep with lamb in General, they continued to do various kinds of changes until in the end the tradition of Buffalo sheep is now transformed into a tradition of art contest Garut sheep agility. Changes made to them including sheep should get special treatment before competition, the setting of the game, and conduct the assessment is determined based on the elements of the art of accompaniment music Nayaga. Change is what keeps society campaigned arrowroot to eliminate a negative view of the associated existence of gambling in every game. Because it is considered that for gambling is actually a process of bargaining between the prospective buyer with a cattlemen, where the selling price of the sheep who won the contest will soar up to hundreds of millions of dollars. So, often a number of breeders utilize this contest as a sheep marketing area is also becoming a new way to boost their economies. Preservation of tradition is becoming a reference for creators to formulate the idea of creation of the work of the documentary portrait of a culture in order to help the community in Garut who were campagned the tradition of their ancestors. In the making of this movie, the creators used a technique that includes cinematography, camera angles, continuity, cutting, close-ups and composition to maximize the message of the story through the pictures shown. Through this film, the creators expect the general public can better understand what kind of tradition art contest agility sheep Garut has changed and there is no gambling in it.

Abstract

Pemuda peserta program kesetaraan di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Rabbani Mulia menghadapi tantangan dalam memperoleh keterampilan praktis yang dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan daya saing di dunia kerja serta melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan pemuda melalui pelatihan keterampilan memandu acara, penyuntingan video dasar, serta sesi motivasi kuliah dan informasi beasiswa guna membuka wawasan peserta terhadap peluang pendidikan tinggi dan cara mencapainya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, dengan memberikan kesempatan praktik langsung melalui simulasi, diskusi kelompok, dan pendampingan oleh tiga dosen ahli. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi lisan, kemampuan teknis dalam penyuntingan video, serta peningkatan motivasi peserta dalam merencanakan studi lanjut. Program ini juga menghasilkan dokumentasi kegiatan yang disebarluaskan melalui media sosial dan portal informasi lembaga. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas, kepercayaan diri, dan kesiapan peserta dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja maupun pendidikan tinggi. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam memperluas akses dan peluang pengembangan potensi akademik dan profesional bagi pemuda peserta program kesetaraan.
