Abstract

Indonesia has been gifted with a wide range of diverse cultures from Sabang to Merauke, making Indonesia one of the biggest country with multi ethnic groups, races and cultures. Meanwhile, a lack of information that can be accessed by the students causing a big issue that needs to be addressed. The information of Indonesian traditional clothing is very limited, which has been represented as a characteristic of tribe and culture in each region and also used in the traditional ceremony. Therefore, this study aims to develop an Android-based educational game of traditional Indonesian clothing. The method used in this study was Research and Development approach. The results of this study showed that developing an educational game "Introduction to Traditional Clothing in Indonesia" on the Android platform,that provided information to users about any traditional musical instruments in Indonesia, helped students to recognize the particular culture through its traditional clothing as it could give an insight to them. From the results of testing carried out with the black box method, it could be concluded that this application enabled to function well and provide the beneficial information to user about the traditional clothing.

Abstract

This study focuses on addressing the challenges of processing hand sign data in Virtual Reality environments, particularly the variability in data length during gesture recording. To optimize machine learning models for gesture recognition, various padding techniques were implemented. The data was gathered using the Meta Quest 2 device, consisting of 1,000 samples representing 10 American Sign Language hand sign movements. The research applied different padding techniques, including pre- and post-zero padding as well as replication padding, to standardize sequence lengths. Long Short-Term Memory networks were utilized for modeling, with the data split into 80% for training and 20% for validation. An additional 100 unseen samples were used for testing. Among the techniques, pre-replication padding produced the best results in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score on the test dataset. Both pre- and post-zero padding also demonstrated strong performance but were outperformed by replication padding. This study highlights the importance of padding techniques in optimizing the accuracy and generalizability of machine learning models for hand sign recognition in Virtual Reality. The findings offer valuable insights for developing more robust and efficient gesture recognition systems in interactive Virtual Reality environments, enhancing user experiences and system reliability. Future work could explore extending these techniques to other Virtual Reality interactions.

Abstract

Suatu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam produksi kopi saset arabika menghadapi beberapa tantangan, salah satunya adalah potensi manipulasi data inventori akibat kurangnya penyimpanan data yang memadai serta kesulitan administratif dalam mengakses informasi stok barang yang terkini. Untuk mengatasi masalah, Penelitian ini menawarkan solusi melalui pengembangan sistem informasi persediaan menggunakan diagram fishbone untuk menganalisis permasalahan yang dihadapi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode waterfall, memanfaatkan tahapan terstruktur dalam identifikasi masalah. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan metode waterfall guna meningkatkan efisiensi pencatatan inventori di perusahaan tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini berupa Sistem Informasi Stok Persediaan yang dapat mengoptimalkan pengelolaan data stok persediaan. Tahap implementasi melibatkan penggunaan database MySQL dan Bahasa Pemrograman PHP dengan agar pengembangan sistem dapat mencapai tingkat optimal. Pengujian sistem informasi stok persediaan ini menggunakan metode Black Box Testing yang mendapatkan hasil bahwa sistem ini sudah berjalan baik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil penerimaan black box menunjukan 100% penerimaan. Metode skoring kualitas system informasi stok persediaan ini menggunakan skala likert dengan hasil penerimaan 86,36% dengan kriteria sangat baik, sehingga sistem ini dapat diterapkan untuk pengelolaan stok perusahaan dalam menyederhanakan manajemen persediaan di perusahaan, memfasilitasi pencatatan dan pengendalian data stok yang lebih efisien dan terstruktur.

Abstract

In 2022 Mendeley launched the Mendeley Reference Manager so it is necessary to conduct training as a form of community service that aims to improve the literacy ability of scientific papers in terms of searching and citation of a library. The activity partners with Ngampooz so that it can be well organized starting from participant registration to the submission of materials and participant certificates through the Ngampooz application. The main activity is training carried out online with the Zoom application and participants practice directly for each part of the material on their respective computers. The profile of participants consists of students, students, lecturers, engineers, and employees from various institutions in Jakarta and its surroundings. From the comparison of pretest and posttest, participants' ability increased sharply to encourage and improve the literacy ability of scientific papers in Indonesia.Abstract in BahasaDi tahun 2022 Mendeley meluncurkan Mendeley Reference Manager sehingga perlu dilakukan pelatihan sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi karya ilmiah dalam hal pencarian dan sitasi suatu pustaka. Kegiatan bermitra dengan Ngampooz sehingga bisa terorganisasi dengan baik mulai dari pendaftaran peserta hingga penyerahan materi dan sertikat peserta melalui aplikasi Ngampooz. Kegiatan utama yaitu pelatihan dilakukan secara daring dengan aplikasi Zoom dan peserta praktek secara langsung untuk setiap bagian materi di komputer masing-masing peserta. Profil peserta terdiri dari pelajar, mahasiswa, dosen, engineer, dan pegawai yang berasal dari berbagai institusi di Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Dari perbandingan pretest dan posttest, kemampuan peserta meningkat tajam sehingga bisa mendorong dan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi karya ilmiah di Indonesia.

Abstract

Pemuda peserta program kesetaraan di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Rabbani Mulia menghadapi tantangan dalam memperoleh keterampilan praktis yang dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan daya saing di dunia kerja serta melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan pemuda melalui pelatihan keterampilan memandu acara, penyuntingan video dasar, serta sesi motivasi kuliah dan informasi beasiswa guna membuka wawasan peserta terhadap peluang pendidikan tinggi dan cara mencapainya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman, dengan memberikan kesempatan praktik langsung melalui simulasi, diskusi kelompok, dan pendampingan oleh tiga dosen ahli. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi lisan, kemampuan teknis dalam penyuntingan video, serta peningkatan motivasi peserta dalam merencanakan studi lanjut. Program ini juga menghasilkan dokumentasi kegiatan yang disebarluaskan melalui media sosial dan portal informasi lembaga. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas, kepercayaan diri, dan kesiapan peserta dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja maupun pendidikan tinggi. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam memperluas akses dan peluang pengembangan potensi akademik dan profesional bagi pemuda peserta program kesetaraan.

Abstract

Asset management in a company is essential to do. Asset management may include record keeping, maintenance, and management environment further. Recording information asset owned by a company is the primary and most important thing to do to record data assets owned by the company. The existence of definite information about the asset owned by a company will provide convenience for the company that is and automatically, the company will also easier to carry out the asset management process further. One of the governments in the Jakarta Branch, which has assets, should be maintained. Recording information assets in one of the government banks, Jakarta Branch, is only partially managed with a computerized system. The process of recording data assets is still done manually and also not maximum. This research developed an Asset Monitoring Application Maintenance feature that can do registration detail information about the attributes and Monitoring of existing assets and Online Work Order. The software development model used in this study is the waterfall model. This thesis will explain the activities in each development phase. With this application, all the attributes of data assets owned by the company can be well identified and inventoried so that the process of monitoring assets is more optimum and easier to do
