Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Inflation, GRDP, and Wage Levels on Labor Absorption in the Manufacturing Sector of Banjarmasin City. This study uses secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics and related offices in the form of time series data from 2005 to 2017, with the object of research being the Banjarmasin City processing industry. Consists of inflation data for the City of Banjarmasin, the GRDP of the manufacturing sector at constant prices according to the field of business, the level of wages or minimum wages that apply in the City of Banjarmasin, as well as the workforce absorbed or working in the manufacturing sector of the City of Banjarmasin. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, whichitestss classical assumptions andses. The study results indicate that the three independent variables simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employment. While partial inflation has a significant positive impact on work, GRDP and wage levels have an insignificant negative effect on labor absorption. The most influential variable on outcome is the inflation variable.

Abstract

This study shows the effect of life expectancy, average length of schooling, and purchasing power parity on GRDP in South Kalimantan. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency in 2011-2020, with time series analysis data; the results of the study state: life expectancy has a negative and insignificant effect on GRDP in South Kalimantan; the average length of schooling has a positive and significant impact on GRDP in South Kalimantan; Purchasing power parity has a positive and significant effect on GRDP in South Kalimantan; The value of the determinant coefficient (R2) is 0.974301 with the intention that GRDP is influenced by three variables, namely life expectancy, average length of schooling and purchasing power parity 97% and the rest is influenced by other factors 3%.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of Population Numbers, Economic Growth, and Income Inequality on Poverty rates in South Kalimantan Province in 2003-2020. This study aims to determine the impact of population, economic Growth, and income inequality on poverty levels in South Kalimantan from 2003-2020. This study used multiple linear regression analysis methods with specific time-lined data, and the data used operated with the E-Views 10 application. From the conclusion of the research that has been conducted, population effects negatively and significantly affect the poverty rate in South Kalimantan Province from 2003 to 2020. Economic Growth gives a negative and significant direction to the poverty rate in the Province of South Kalimantan in 20032020. At the same time, the Income Inequality variable had a positive but insignificant effect on the poverty level in the Province of South Kalimantan from 2003 to 2020.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the development of medium and small-scale manufacturing industries on the absorption of labor in South Kalimantan. The data used is secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency in 2006-2019, using time series analysis data. The results of the study show: 1) the minimum wage has a negative and significant effect on labor absorption in the medium and large-scale manufacturing sector; 2) the output value has a negative and insignificant effect on employment in the medium and large-scale manufacturing sector; and 3) the number of business units has a positive and significant effect on the absorption of labor in the medium and large-scale manufacturing sector.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to knoweffect of the gross domestic product of UMKM,the investment of UMKM, the minimum wage national average against the absorption oflabor in the UMKM sector, and the most dominant variable that affects the absorption ofwork in the UMKM sector. Tool analysis in this research is multiple linear regressionanalysis, and program application to analyzed data in this research is eviews version 9.The results showed the GDP of UMKM, Investment of UMKM, and the minimumwage national average simultaneously significantly affected the absorption of labor in theUMKM sector. By partially, the GDP of UMKM and minimum wage national average have asignificant effect, and investment of UMKM has no significant impact on the absorption oflabor in the UMKM sector. The most dominant is the GDP of UMKM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of the Human Development Index (HDI) and unemploymenton Economic Growth in the City of Banjarmasin. This type of research is quantitative research with secondary data. While the location of research is in the city of Banjarmasin, the data used in this study arethe Human Development Index (HDI) and unpleyment data in Banjarmasin City for 11 years in the 2009-2019 period. The data that has beendata obtained is then analyzed by analyzing multiple linear regression equations with the help og the SPSS software program version 26.0. The research results in a partial analysis of the Human Development Index (HDI) signifanctly influence economic growth in the city of Banjarmasin. Unemployment is partially negative and significant effect on economic growt in the city of Banjarmasin and simultaneously the Human Development Index (HDI) and unemployment have a significant effect on economic growth in the city of Banjarmasin during 2009-2019.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential for cluster analysis of Non-Timber Forest Products (HHBK) in the Upstream River and Non-Timber Forest Products (HHBK) KPHs, which are most suitable for industrial development in the FMU. Sources of data used are primary and secondary data in a Long Term Management Plan (RPHJP) Upstream Forest Management Unit (KPH) document and interviews. The data analysis technique used is a feasibility study to find out what non-timber forest products will be most suitable for industrial development in the FMU Hulu Sungai. The results showed that the FMU Hulu Sungai had potential Non-Timber Forest Products (HHBK), namely Aren, Bamboo, and Candlenut. The use of the feasibility study method to get the priority scale which is the most feasible to be built by industry. Analysis of the Clusterization of Non-Timber Forest Products Industry (HHBK) in the Hulu Sungai FMU can be used as a reference for the industry office and Forest Management Units (KPH) to see whether or not an industry should be built in the FMU Hulu Sungai

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of retribution in the tourism sectorto the Local Revenue in Kotabaru District. In this research using quantitativedescriptive method. The type of data used in the form of secondary data about thedevelopment of the retribution of the tourism sector to the Local Revenue in KotabaruDistrict. The results of research can be used by local governments to set policies on thetourism sector to increase the local revenue.Based on the results of this study, it is indicated that the role of tourism retribution isstill relatively small with respect to the original regional income in Kotabaru Regency due tothe increase in the amount of local revenue with a larger amount.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the Regional financial performance in the implementation of regional autonomy in the Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. Dataanalyzed in the form of Realization of Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget of Hulu Sungai Utara Regency measured by regional financial ratios include: regionalindependence ration and relationship patterns, fiscal decentralization degree ratio, effectiveness and efficiency ratio, income growth and relationship pattern.The result of the ratio analysis in this study can be seen that the Hulu Sungai Utara Regency for Independence is still not able to carry out regional autonomy for thelevel of PAD capability is still low and effecicency is still lacking and even thouhg the effectiveness is effective and the growth has also been positive.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) determine the base sector owned by the BanjarRegency, and (2) the non-base sector development strategy in Banjar District. Theanalysis method to determine the base sector is calculated through Location quotient,Shift Share, and Klassen Typology for development strategies through SWOT analysis.Using secondary data in the form of gross regional domestic product according toemployment at constant prices and primary data obtained from interviews withrespondents who are considered experts or know the situation. The results showed fourprimary sectors: construction sector, wholesale and retail trade sector, car andmotorcycle repair sector, accommodation and food and beverage supply sector, and theInformation and Communication sector. The industry that wants to be developed is theagriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors that produce the strategy that best suits thesituation is the S-O strategy.
