Abstract

ChatGPT, an AI-driven chatbot, delivers coherent and valuable responses by analysing extensive data sets. This article explores the profound impact of ChatGPT on contemporary education, as discussed by prominent academics, scientists, distinguished researchers, and engineers. The study delves into ChatGPT's capabilities, its application in the education sector, and the identification of potential concerns and challenges. Initial assessments reveal variations in ChatGPT's performance across diverse subjects, including finance, coding, mathematics, and general public queries. While ChatGPT can assist educators by generating instructional content, providing suggestions, serving as an online educator for learners, answering questions and revolutionising education through smartphones and IoT devices, it has shortcomings. These include the risk of generating inaccurate or false information and evading plagiarism detection systems, a critical concern for maintaining originality. The commonly reported "hallucinations" in Generative AI, which applies to ChatGPT, also limit its utility in situations where precision is paramount. A notable deficiency in ChatGPT is the absence of a stochastic measure to facilitate authentic and empathetic communication with users. The article suggests that educational institutions' academic regulations and evaluation practices should be updated if ChatGPT is integrated into the educational toolkit. To effectively navigate the transformative effects of ChatGPT in the learning environment, it is imperative to educate teachers and students about its capabilities and limitations.

Abstract

Incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into educational settings has been thrust forward using information and communication technology to improve the teaching and learning processes. In November of 2022, a significant advancement in this field occurred with the launch of ChatGPT, a chatbot powered by artificial intelligence. This cutting-edge chatbot can create logical and instructive replies, much like those that human users generate. Because of its versatility, ChatGPT has emerged as a potential supporter of open education. It offers helpful assistance, coaching, and feedback to learners who are self-directed, which in turn increases the learners' levels of motivation and engagement. This article aims to conduct an in-depth comparison and analysis of the elements above, focusing on the possible uses of ChatGPT inside educational settings. The particular goals include lobbying for adopting ChatGPT in academic settings and providing educators with various strategies and approaches to use ChatGPT in a manner that is both deliberate and successful in pedagogical or research endeavours. One of the primary objectives of this study is to encourage a well-informed discussion on the use of ChatGPT in educational settings. When it comes to incorporating ChatGPT services into educational environments, it outlines the fundamental techniques and approaches that should be used simultaneously.

Abstract

This study investigates how young people's social life are impacted by Monopoly Go! in the context of digital gaming. With the goal of analysing the game's communication elements, engagement reasons, and social repercussions, it fills knowledge gaps about the societal ramifications of digital games on social interaction. The literature study examines the evolution of Monopoly Go! from a classic board game to a mobile app, emphasising the game's ability to foster social connections even when players are separated by great distances. Through qualitative techniques including content analysis and in-depth interviews, the study looks into how the game affects young people's social connections. The game's ability to start talks, bring friends back together after the pandemic, and encourage peer influence and teamwork motivations is demonstrated by the findings. On the other hand, disputes that occur during in-game exchanges and the impact of in-game item commercialization on fair play are causes for concern. Future study should diversify its participant pool, ethical norms for community behaviour should be put in place, and the effects of commercialization on social dynamics inside gaming communities should be investigated. These revelations provide light on the intricate social dynamics, interpersonal relationships, and moral dilemmas present in online gaming environments.
