Abstract

v>Lidah buaya (Aloe vera L.) merupakan tanaman dari suku Liliaceae dan dikelompokkan pada tanaman hortikultura yangmemiliki banyak manfaat, selain sebagai bahan baku industri juga sebagai bahan campuran obat-obatan tradisional karena tidak memilikiefek samping seperti obat-obatan dari bahan kimia atau sintetis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi pupukorganik kotoran ternak ayam dan kambing terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman lidah buaya, dosis pupuk organik kotoran ternak yangmemberikan pertumbuhan terbaik pada tanaman lidah buaya, dan dosis kombinasi pupuk kotoran ternak ayam dan kambing yangmemberikan pertumbuhan terbaik pada tanaman lidah buaya. Percobaan telah dilakukan dari bulan April-September 2021 di KelurahanTanah Grogot, Kecamatan Tanah Grogot, Kabupaten Paser. Percobaan disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), terdiriatas 16 perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak lima kali. Perlakuan merupakan kombinasi pupuk organik kotoran ternak ayam dan kambing.Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam dan untuk membandingkan antara dua rata-rata perlakuan dilanjutkandengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan (UJDG) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kombinasi pupuk organikkotoran ternak ayam dan kambing berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertambahan tinggi tanaman umur 6, 8, dan 10 Minggu SetelahPindah Tanam (MSPT) serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap total berat basah tanaman lidah buaya. Dosis pupuk organik kotoran ayam 450g per tanaman memberikan hasil terbaik pada total berat basah dan total berat kering tanaman lidah buaya. Dosis kombinasi pupukkotoran ternak ayam 300 g per tanaman + pupuk kotoran kambing 225 g per tanaman memberikan hasil terbaik pada variabelpertambahan tinggi tanaman, total berat basah dan total berat kering tanaman lidah buaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of multicultural education on the formation of inclusive and tolerant character in students at MTsN 1 Tana Toraja. The background of this research is based on the social conditions of the Tana Toraja community, which is characterized by cultural and religious diversity, thereby requiring educational strategies that foster mutual respect and prevent intolerance. The research method employed is quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed using classical assumption tests, F-tests, t-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that multicultural education has a significant effect on the formation of inclusive and tolerant character, both simultaneously and partially. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.725 indicates that 72.5% of the variation in the formation of inclusive and tolerant character can be explained by multicultural education, while the remaining 27.5% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating multicultural values into the learning process and extracurricular activities to strengthen students’ character, enabling them to adapt to diversity.

Abstract

This study examines the paradox in Soppeng Riaja District, Barru Regency, which is known as a “santri city” but faces serious problems in waste management. Religious identities that emphasize cleanliness are not fully reflected in people's social behavior. This research aims to explore the social dynamics behind these problems and examine the role of educational institutions, society, and the government in formulating relevant solutions. With a sociological approach, the analysis is focused on how social constructions of cleanliness are formed, as well as the extent to which religious norms and government policies affect the collective behavior of society. The results of the study show that the main obstacles in waste management in Soppeng Riaja include low collective awareness, limited infrastructure, and weak coordination between parties. This research is expected to contribute to the development of policies based on socio-religious values to increase environmental awareness, as well as enrich the sociological study of social identity and environmental sustainability in religious societies.
