Abstract

Nickel mining is a vital industry that plays an important role in providing energy supplies in Indonesia. Work activities in the nickel mining sector have high potential for danger and risk so that aspects are required to fulfill Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental requirements in every work activity. Based on Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 26/2018 concerning the implementation of good mining principles and supervision of Minerba mining, it is explained that the Mining Safety Management System (MSMS) is part of the system in the company as a whole, helping companies to implement Mining Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Implementation of Operational Safety of Mining. The aim of this activity is to optimize the safety maturity level (Safety Maturity Level) of the mining sector through the collaboration of PT. Putra Perkasa Abadi MLP Job Site with FKM UHO lecturers. The collaboration methods used were interviews, Focus Group Discussions, observations, questionnaires, document reviews, data analysis and simulations. The result of this collaboration is to obtain an overview of the safety performance maturity level (Safety Maturity Level/SML) in the company in proactive category.

Abstract

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome ialah tekanan yang terjadi pada saraf median saat saraf ini berjalan melalui terowongan karpal menyebabkan kondisi neuropati pergelangan tangan yang paling umum. Gejala umum yang sering terjadi adalah nyeri, parestesia, mati rasa, atau kesemutan, biasanya terjadi di ibu jari di sisi radial jari telunjuk, jari tengah, serta jari manis. Estimasi prevalensi Carpal Tunnel Syndrome populasi dunia cukup tinggi yaitu 3,8%. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis hubungan masa kerja, lama kerja, gerakan berulang (repetitive), serta riwayat penyakit dengan keluhan Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) pada Nelayan di Desa Lagasa Kabupaten Muna Tahun 2022. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 248 nelayan dari Desa Lagasa yang berpartisipasi dalam pengambilan sampel secara Accidental Sampling. Kuesioner dan pemeriksaan Phalen's Test digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data guna mengidentifikasi keluhan CTS. Uji chi-square digunakan dalam melakukan analisis statistik untuk memastikan hubungan antara variabel independen dan dependen. Hasil penelitian membuktikan jika terdapat hubungan antara masa kerja dengan keluhan Carpal Tunnel Syndrome dengan p-value = 0,033, lama kerja dengan keluhan Carpal Tunnel Syndrome dengan p-value = 0,000, gerakan berulang dengan keluhan Carpal Tunnel Syndrome dengan p-value = 0,035, riwayat penyakit dengan keluhan Carpal Tunnel Syndrome dengan p-value = 0,004. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ialah terdapat hubungan antara masa kerja, lama kerja, gerakan berulang, dan riwayat penyakit dengan keluhan Carpal Tunnel Syndrome pada Nelayan di Desa Lagasa Kabupaten Muna Tahun 2022. Abstract

Background: Work fatigue is a condition experienced by workers as a result of job responsibilities that have an impact on endurance and efficiency at work. Fatigue is part of occupational health and safety issues because it can cause accidents at work. Nurses are one of the workforce in hospitals with the responsibility of providing optimal service to patients. The demands of the work carried out by nurses can cause fatigue. Aims: The purpose of this study was to determine what factors are associated with work fatigue in nurses in the emergency room and ICU BLUD RS Benyamin Guluh Kolaka Regency in 2023. Methods: This study was conducted in the field of emergency room services and the field of ICU care BLUD Benyamin Guluh Hospital Kolaka Regency in June 2023. The population and sample of this study were all nurses who worked in the emergency room and ICU BLUD RS Benyamiin Guluh Kolaka Regency which amounted to 47 nurses. Results: The results showed that workload (p = 0.032, r = 314), attitude (P = 0.025, r = 0.326), and tenure (p = 0.018, r = 0.343) are factors that are positively related or proportional to job fatigue, while work shifts (p = 0.531, r = 0.094) are not related to job fatigue. Conclusion: Workload, attitude, and tenure are positively related or directly proportional to job fatigue in nurses in the emergency room and ICU BLUD Benyamin Guluh Hospital Kolaka Regency. Based on the results of the study, it is necessary to increase teamwork in completing work, the hospital can add training to nurses so that they are not monotonous in their work, create a mutually supportive work atmosphere, and nurses with a work period of <5 years need to pay attention to their working conditions and environment so that they can adapt and be able to organize work.
