Abstract

The purpose of this studay is to know how important understanding logic is in critical thingking. Logic teaches us how a person can think precisely and ordely. As a human being, he should have the abilitiy to think to obtain and know all scientific information. Every human being is given reason to be able to remember, respond, argue, think and know new things. In today’s modern era, the importance of understanding logic in critical thinking is very important in making the right decision to take action. Critical thinking include logical thingking and use of reasoning, includes the skills to compare, analyze, classify, do, relate, cause and effect, describe thinking patterns, make analogies, arrange series, give reasons deductively and inductively, critical thinking includes includes determining the meaning and importance of what is seen or stated in the assessment of arguments, considering conclusions drawn based on supporting evidence which is valid and adequate. Critical thinking is a deep thinking activity that connects various kinds of reasoning principles, critical thinking as an ability needed to acquire knowledge.

Abstract

Identifying key principles in Jesus' teaching method that are relevant to the concept of active learning. Analyzing how these principles can be integrated into the practice of Christian character education for students. Exploring the potential impact of implementing an active learning model based on Jesus' example on the formation of Christian character in students. This study adopted a qualitative approach with a literature study design and narrative analysis. This method was chosen because of its ability to explore in depth abstract concepts and analyze narrative texts that are at the heart of Jesus' teaching. google scholer, especially the narrative of Jesus' teaching in the Gospels. Secondary data sources include academic literature on character education, active learning, and studies on Jesus' teaching method. Active learning is a way or strategy of learning that allows students to interact, solve problems, to learn naturally. The Active Learning Approach is a teaching strategy that encourages students to interact, solve problems, and achieve realization naturally. Active learning, often known as active learning, is a type of education in which students engage students who are active in the learning process. Actively participate in the learning process. This study shows that Jesus' teaching method offers an active learning model that is very relevant and effective for building Christian character. Key principles such as the use of imagery, reflective inquiry, direct experience, and contextualization can be effectively integrated into contemporary Christian character education practices.

Abstract

The role of teachers in Christian-based character education is crucial in shaping individuals who are not only intellectually smart but also rich in values and ethics, especially amidst the challenges of globalization and rapid technological advancements. This research aims to develop teaching methodologies that can support Christian religious education teachers in their duties, specifically in designing and implementing an effective curriculum to help students understand and apply Christian values in daily life. The research method to be used is literature research, involving the collection of data related to the discussed theme from primary sources such as books, scientific journals, and others. The research findings indicate that Christian Religious Education teachers play a vital role in forming students' character to reflect the teachings of Lord Jesus Christ through the teaching of Christian values and by being models in behavior, attitude, and ethics. Effective character education requires support from a conducive learning environment, including the commitment of the school community, a curriculum that is integrated with values and ethics, visionary leadership from the school principal, and solid teamwork, despite challenges such as limited resources, lack of parental support, and apathetic attitudes from some parties.
