Abstract

The problem of early marriage is one of the problems that is often found in Indonesia. However, this problem is more common in rural areas than in urban ones. Early marriage is a marriage that occurs between a pair of teenagers, both male and female, who are still not ready physically, physiologically, and psychologically. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause early marriage in Pameungpeuk Hamlet, Kadudampit District, Kabupaten Sukabumi. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a literature study. To identify the location and informants in this study using a purposive sampling technique. Meanwhile, data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, observations, and case studies. The results of the study show that there are three (3) main factors that cause early marriage, including economic factors, educational factors, and parental factors.

Abstract

Abstract This study discusses the meaning of the word al-ar? in the Qur'an juz 28. The word al-ar? is closely related to human life, namely with human habitation, in the translation of the Qur'an it only provides an initial description of the meaning of al-ar?, so it requires a more in depth explanation in order to know its meaning comprehensively. This study uses Toshihiko Izutsu semantic theory of the Qur'an in order to know its meaning comprehensively. The stages carried out in this research are to find the basic meaning, relational meaning using syntagmatic and paradigmatic analysis, then examine the historical meaning seen from the synchronic and diachronic aspects, and the last is to look for weltanschauung or the conceptual meaning of the word al-ar?. Which of these studies shows that the word al-ar? in juz 28 is divided into two meanings namely, the meaning of the earth in general (Ithl?qu al-ma'?n?) and the seventh earth (sab'i ara??n). These two meanings lead to the world view of the Qur'an or weltanschauung to the word al-ar? which means the earth as a human habitation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of milkul yamin in the Qur'an and its relevance to modern times. Using Abdul Hayy al-Farmawi's thematic method theory, this research is library research with a qualitative approach. Primary data is obtained from the Qur'an and books of tafsir, while secondary data is from supporting books and previous articles. The results show that the concept of milkul yamin is not only related to slaves or sexual problems but also concerns social and humanitarian problems. The Qur'an wants the gradual abolition of the slavery system by providing guidelines for fakku-raqabah. Although the locus of slavery is no longer relevant in modern times, the essence of the Qur'an as a guideline still applies, especially in upholding human rights and overcoming various forms of modern slavery such as labour exploitation, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation.
