Abstract

Antenatal Care (ANC) is a form of service provided by midwives to pregnant women with the aim that every pregnant woman gets integrated, comprehensive, quality services and provides counseling, information and education to mothers during pregnancy. Pregnancy examination in pregnant women is actually preventive and aims to detect early if there are abnormalities or diseases suffered by mothers during pregnancy so that midwives can intervene quickly and appropriately against these diseases and disorders and midwives can make referrals to more complete and adequate health facilities in accordance with the applicable referral system. Pregnancy check-up or antenatal care can also be a means for midwives to carry out health promotion and health education about healthy pregnancy, safe and comfortable childbirth and also how to prepare for parenthood. The standard care for antenatal care consists of weight weighing, blood pressure measurement, fundus uterine height measurement, Fe tablets as much as 90 tablets during pregnancy, tetanus toxoid immunization, haemoglobin (Hb) examination, VDRL examination, breast care, breast gymnastics and breast press massage, maintenance of fitness level or pregnancy exercises, talks, urine protein examination,  administration of iodine capsule therapy for goiter endemic, administration of anti-malarial therapy for malaria-endemic areas.

Abstract

With the increasing number of hospitals in Indonesia, service, professionalism and competence must be at a level that represents service quality. The quality of providing special impetus health services, including physiotherapy services, to understand patient expectations, which in turn can increase patient satisfaction and foster patient loyalty. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of patient satisfaction that is tangible, reliable, responsiveness, assurance, and emphatic at Kendari City Hospital. This study uses a phenomenological method and is qualitative in nature. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) analytical techniques were used in conjunction with observation, interviews, and other data collection methods. The results of the research conducted provide a statement that patient satisfaction with physiotherapy services at the Kendari city hospital has not run optimally. Of the five dimensions of service quality, there are four (4) service dimensions that are not optimal in supporting patient satisfaction. These four things are an uncomfortable waiting room, physiotherapists who don't explain procedures, narrow action rooms, rather long registration times, and fast therapy times.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where the systolic blood pressure is > 140 mmHg while the diastolic blood pressure is > 90 mmHg on repeated examinations. Nonadherence in taking medication regularly can increase the risk of complications from high blood pressure. The aim of the study was to analyze the factors that influence medication adherence in hypertensive patients at the Teluk Nibung Health Center, Tanjung Balai City, in 2023. This study was an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional study design. The population is all hypertensive patients who carry out outpatient examinations at the Teluk Nibung Health Center, Tanjung Balai City from September 2022 to November 2022, a total of 281 people. The sample used the slovin formula as many as 74 people. The result of this study showed that the influence of age (p=0.000), gender (p=0.000), education (p=0.001), employment (p=0.001), length of suffering (p=0.004), participation in health insurance (p=0.000) , access to health services (p=0.001), knowledge (p=0.000), and family support (p=0.000), from health worker support (p= 0.007) on adherence to taking medication for hypertension patients at the Teluk Nibung Health Center, Tanjung Balai City in 2023. The multivariate result of the variable that most influences adherence to taking medication for hypertensive patients is health insurance participation because it has the largest regression coefficient (B) value of 31.535. It is recommended for people with hypertension to regularly participate in prolanis activities every month, in addition to medical examinations, education for prolanis participants, SMS gateway reminders, home visits and club activities (gymnastics).
