A B S T R A C T This paper examines the Bad Student Movement in Thai Protest 2020 as a significant social movement in Thailand. Using Charles Tilly's theory of social movements, this research analyzes how this group of students mobilized against the domination of the government and monarchy with demands for education reform and democracy. Data was collected through a literature study, including journals, articles, books, media, and mass media information. The results showed that the Bad Student Movement managed to build a strong collective identity and used a variety of creative and organized protest strategies. The students were able to attract public attention and gain widespread support, despite facing repressive measures from the government. The conclusion of this research highlights the importance of network solidarity, shared claims, and the utilization of political opportunities in the success of social movements. The Bad Student movement not only highlighted injustices in the education system, but also emphasized the need for freedom of expression and democracy in upholding human rights to build a more just society in Thailand.
