Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keadaan mahasiswa dalam menerima mata kuliah ilmu kalam terkait dengan tantangan dan pengaruhnya terhadap keilmuan yang dipelajari. Studi kasus dalam penelitian ini terhadap mahasiswa STIT Ibnu Khaldun Nunukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus (case study) dan bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan dalam hal penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan pertimbangan tertentu sesuai dengan kebutuhan (purposive sampling) dan data dianalisa secara induktif. Adapun hasil dari penelian ini yakni: Pertama, pembelajaran ilmu kalam/teologi Islam memberikan signifikasni terhadap dasar pandangan bagi setiap mahasiswa terkait konsep dasar ber-Islam seperti Tuhan, wahyu dan kenabian, agama, dan manusia. Kedua, beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi mahasiswa terkait dengan latar belakang pendidikan pada jenjang sebelumnya, kurikulum dan pemahaman. Ketiga, pemahaman terhadap ilmu kalam harus komprehensif, memperhatikan keadaan di masyarakat dengan mengambil pemikiran yang teruji, yakni paham ahlu sunnah wal jamaah yang merupakan ajaran moderat sehingga akan membentuk pola pikir, karakter, dan perilaku mahasiswa yang benar dan baik. This research aims to determine the situation of students in receiving natural science courses related to the challenges and their influence on the science being studied. The case study in this research is about STIT Ibnu Khaldun Nunukan students. The research method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study type of research and is descriptive in nature. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Meanwhile, the determination of the sample was carried out with certain considerations according to needs (purposive sampling) and the data was analyzed inductively. The results of this research are: First, learning kalam science/Islamic theology provides significance in the basic views for each student regarding basic Islamic concepts such as God, revelation and prophecy, religion, and humans. Second, several problems faced by students are related to educational background at previous levels, curriculum and understanding. Third, understanding the science of kalam must be comprehensive, paying attention to the situation in society by taking tested thoughts, namely the understanding of ahlu sunnah wal jamaah which is a moderate teaching so that it will shape students' correct and good mindset, character and behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana moderasi beragama sebagai sebuah pemahaman yang telah ada dalam Suku Tidung melalui budaya yang mereka tradisikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, yang melalui tradisi itu selaras dengan tujuan moderasi yakni penghargaan terhadap perbedaan dan memahami perbedaan dalam bingkai harmoni. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan etnografi. Melalui pendekatan etnografi peneliti hendak memotret lebih dekat kebudayaan yang ada pada Suku Tidung dan nilai-nilai moderasi yang dihasilkan dari budaya yang ada, baik dengan observasi langsung maupun wawancara dalam menemukan hasil penelitian. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Suku Tidung terus berusaha mempertahankan identitas dan keragaman budaya mereka sambil tetap terbuka terhadap perubahan dan kemajuan zaman. Melalui semangat gotong royong dan kebersamaan, Suku Tidung berupaya memperkuat persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa, serta menjaga keharmonisan antar suku dan etnis di wilayah Nunukan, Kalimantan Utara. Pada sisi lain kebudayaan Suku Tidung seperti Iraw dimaknai tidak hanya sekedar seremoni, namun upaya penghormatan dan perayaan bersama, serta mengakui perbedaan. Dalam hal ini Suku Tidung menunjukkan bahwa harmoni antar umat beragama dapat diperkuat melalui dialog dan kerjasama. This research aims to find out how religious moderation is an understanding that already exists in the Tidung Tribe through the culture they have traditions in everyday life, which through this tradition is in line with the aim of moderation, namely respect for differences and understanding differences within a frame of harmony. This research is field research with an ethnographic approach. Through an ethnographic approach, the researcher wants to take a closer picture of the culture of the Tidung Tribe and the values ​​of moderation resulting from the existing culture, both through direct observation and interviews in finding research results. The research findings show that the Tidung Tribe continues to strive to maintain their identity and cultural diversity while remaining open to change and progress over time. Through the spirit of mutual cooperation and togetherness, the Tidung Tribe seeks to strengthen national unity and unity, as well as maintain harmony between tribes and ethnicities in the Nunukan region, North Kalimantan. On the other hand, the culture of the Tidung Tribe, like the Iraw, is interpreted as not just a ceremony, but an effort to honor and celebrate together, as well as recognizing differences. In this case, the Tidung Tribe shows that harmony between religious communities can be strengthened through dialogue and cooperation.

Abstract

This study examines the urgency of effective educational management in the context of globalization and rapid social change, focusing on the case of Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Ibadurrahman in Nunukan, Indonesia. This study analyzes the effectiveness of Ibadurrahman's educational management through several key aspects: curriculum planning and implementation, teacher quality, educational facilities and resources, evaluation and feedback mechanisms, and community involvement. Despite challenges such as community perception and teacher qualifications, Ibadurrahman demonstrates a commitment to integrating general and religious education, fostering character development, and providing a supportive learning environment. The study concludes by assessing the contribution of Ibadurrahman's educational model to the success of its graduates in higher education and their contribution to society. The findings highlight the importance of a comprehensive approach to educational management that considers both academic excellence and character development in achieving quality education.
