Abstract

The qur'an is the word of Allah that has a mutually supportive relationship to convey divine messages with a complex arrangement and structure and is full of wisdom. The approach used by Salwa M.S. el-Awwa provides a new perspective on understanding munasabah by emphasizing the importance of in-depth textual analysis to find patterns and relationships between verses. This article describes El-Awwa's thoughts on understanding the meaning between verses through a rational textual approach. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method to analyze and understand the concept of munasabah in the qur'an, especially in surah al-qiyamah, using a textual relational approach developed by Salwa M.S. El-Awwa. Data collection techniques use two main methods. First, a literature review includes collecting and reviewing books, articles, and scientific works related to munasabah, a textual relational approach, and surah al-qiyamah, including the works of Salwa M.S. El-Awwa and other academic references. Second, a review of tafsir works, namely reviewing classical and contemporary tafsir. The results of this study refer to the al-qiyamah verse, which can be concluded that pragmatically, this verse explains how serious the consequences are for people who close themselves off from the Prophet's call

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan mengkonstruksi pemikiran Muhammad Nawawi al-Bantani terkait konsep pendidikan Islam, dengan menelusuri teks-teks yang tersebar di berbagai karyanya. Meskipun Nawawi tidak menulis secara khusus tentang pendidikan, pandangan dan ajarannya tentang subjek ini dapat ditemukan melalui pendekatan analisis teks dan wacana, serta studi tokoh berdasarkan biografi, lingkungan, dan guru-gurunya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metodologi analisis normatif-sosiologis. Pemikiran Muhammad Nawawi mengenai pendidikan Islam mencakup berbagai aspek, antara lain subjek didik yang mencakup pendidik dan peserta didik, serta kurikulum pendidikan. Dalam konteks subjek didik, Nawawi menegaskan bahwa Allah SWT, Rasulullah SAW, orang tua, dan guru merupakan elemen utama dalam proses pendidikan. Pendidik diibaratkan sebagai dokter yang menyembuhkan penyakit peserta didik, sementara peserta didik merupakan individu yang membutuhkan bimbingan untuk mencapai optimalisasi potensinya. Nawawi juga memandang pendidikan sebagai sarana untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Allah, dengan tauhid sebagai inti dari kurikulum pendidikan Islam. Pemikiran Nawawi tentang kurikulum didasarkan pada pandangannya bahwa ilmu pengetahuan adalah jembatan menuju kesempurnaan manusia, dan kurikulum harus disusun berdasarkan al-Qur'an dan Hadits. Selain itu, metode pendidikan yang disarankan oleh Nawawi melibatkan pendekatan yang tepat sesuai dengan perkembangan psikologis peserta didik. Evaluasi dalam pendidikan menurut Nawawi sangat penting untuk mengetahui sejauh mana ilmu yang diajarkan dapat dipahami dan diamalkan oleh peserta didik, dengan evaluasi berbasis prinsip-prinsip agama Islam. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemikiran Nawawi tentang pendidikan Islam bersifat holistik, mencakup hubungan yang erat antara ilmu pengetahuan, pengembangan spiritual, serta peran pendidik dalam membimbing peserta didik menuju kesempurnaan spiritual dan moral.
