Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of cultural diversity, one of which is the diversity of traditional dances. One of the traditional dances is the Hudoq dance from East Kalimantan province, which is usually performed to commemorate traditional ceremonies during the period of clearing land for farming. The Pancasila Student Profile is character building according to the values of Pancasila in the Merdeka Curriculum which has six indicators, namely noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, critical reasoning, independence, and creativity. The purpose of this study is to describe the positive impact of Hudoq culture on the characters in the Pancasila Student Profile, especially creative characters in students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with subjects that have been determined by researchers, namely children in Long Melaham village, Mahakam Ulu, East Kalimantan province. The results of this study are that through the Hudoq culture students become more creative, this is in accordance with one of the characters in the Pancasila Student Profile, these results can be seen when students make clothes and attributes used for dancing and perform dramas in a hunting atmosphere in front of the community
