Abstract

Flies are vectors for disease transmission, especially mechanically and through their vomit and feces. Items, especially food, are usually contaminated by human feces, rubbish, the saliva of sick people, scars from animal carcasses and other things that are covered in flies. Flies can throw feces on food so that the food becomes contaminated with fly eggs and larvae. Disruption of comfort, eyesore, itching of the skin, causing discomfort, decreased appetite. To determine the density and identification of flies in the Waiheru Perumnas market, Baguala District, Ambon City. Type of descriptive research that describes a condition based on observation and examination of the Ambon Environmental Health Engineering Center (BTKL) Laboratory. The aim of descriptive research is to describe the density and identification of flies in the Waiheru Perumnas market, Baguala District, Ambon City. Measuring the density of flies in the Waiheru Perumnas market, Baguala District, Ambon City is based on 3 points, 10 measurements at each point in the morning, at the first point (los fish) amounted to 87 flies, at point II (vegetable stall there were 55 flies and at point III (fruit stall) there were 45 flies. Identification of fly types resulted in 3 types of flies identified, namely Musca Domestica (house fly), Cliphora Sp (green flies) and Sarcophaga (meat flies). The density of flies in the Waiheru Perumnas market, Baguala District, Ambon City, based on the installation of fly grills based on the 10 highest points, was 187 flies and at the 5 highest points was 134 flies with 23 flies caught in the fly trap. From the results obtained, it can be seen that the density of flies is very high so it is necessary to deal with fly breeding sites and fly control measures.

Abstract

Aedes aegypti mosquito is the cause of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) which can cause outbreaks and result in high vector development due to uncontrolled vector development. To determine the density and identification of Aedes aeygpti mosquito larvae as vectors RT 005 RW 014 Wailela coastal environment, Rumah Tiga Village, Teluk Ambon District, Descriptive survey research using the cross sectonal method. This research was carried out in the coastal area of RT 005 RW 014 Rumah Tiga Village, Teluk District. In this study, the population taken was 48 houses located in the coastal area of RT 005 RW 014 Rumah Tiga Village, Teluk Ambon District. The variables of this study used larval indices (house index, container index, breteauIndex). The results of the study showed that the assessment of House Index (HI) = 97% Container Index (CI) = 46% and Breteu Index (BI) = 308% with DF= which showed that the density of larvae in the coastal area of RT 005 RW 014 Rumah Tiga Village was quite high and the risk of transmission was also high. Based on the results of the survey, Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae are more commonly found in dispensers and flower pots compared to other types of containers. According to the results of a research survey conducted on the Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae survey in the coastal area of RT 005 RW 014 Rumah Tiga Village, Teluk Ambon District in 2024, the following conclusions were obtained: From the House Index (HI) inspection, 97% of the 46 houses inspected, from the Co M. Interner Index (CI) inspection, 46% positive of the 46 houses inspected, From the Breteu Index (BI) inspection, 308% of the 47 houses inspected.

Abstract

Background. City Ambon is Mother city province Maluku Which consists of from 5 sub-district, and has a population that is increasing day by day Which not balanced with the area. The density of motorized vehicles is increasing also increased with the presence of various vehicles. This will potentially increase the level of pollution air Which caused by by a number of pollutant Which produced from disposal smoke motorized. Objective. For know quality air ambient at Mardika terminal Ambon city. Methods. Type study This is study descriptive that is study about inspection level nitrogen dioxide (NO 2 ) at the terminal Mardika city Ambon, with study direct to field For to obtain sample Which Then done examination at the Environmental Health Technology Center (BTKL) Laboratory, Ambon. Results. Measurement temperature at the terminal Mardika Ambon Sunday First 39.9 ºC, Sunday second -34.4 ºC, Sunday third 34.2 ºC, Sunday fourth 29.4 ºC. Measurement speed wind in terminal Mardika Ambon on Sunday First 0.3-1.7 m/sec, Sunday second 1.8 m/s, Sunday third 0.3-1.7 m/sec, Sunday fourth 1.2-3.9 m/sec. Measurement level NO 2 in terminal Mardika Ambon that is Sunday First <5.22 µg/Mm³, Sunday second <5.22 µg/Nm³, Sunday third <5.22 µg/Nm³, Sunday fourth <5.22 µg/Nm³. Conclusion. Measurement Temperature, Speed Wind and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO 2 ) all results measurement fulfil standard.
