The results of the Independent T - Test show that the P - Value is 0.000 because the P - Value is smaller than 0.05, it can be concluded that the classical music therapy method has a significant effect on reducing blood sugar levels. This can be proven by looking at the pretest and posttest which has shown a significant increase. this research can be expected to b useful information to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The condition of patient admission to the Emergency Room due to urgent medical conditions often triggers feelings of anxiety in patients. Anxiety can increase stress and have a negative impact on patients' physical and emotional conditions. One approach that can be used to reduce anxiety in emergency patients is the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing SEFT therapy on reducing anxiety in emergency patients. This research used a pre-experimental design with one group pretest–posttest. The study was conducted at Sundari General Hospital Medan with a population of 250 emergency patients. Using the G*Power application, a sample of 30 respondents was selected. Data analysis was carried out using the Paired Sample T-Test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that before SEFT therapy, most emergency patients experienced severe anxiety (56.7%) with a mean score of 29.93 ± 6.938. After therapy, most patients experienced mild anxiety (43.3%) with a mean score of 17.67 ± 5.365. Statistical tests showed a significant effect of SEFT therapy on reducing anxiety levels, with a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and t-count 25.217 greater than t-table 1.699. Conclusion: SEFT therapy effectively reduces anxiety levels in emergency patients. Nurses are encouraged to integrate SEFT therapy into holistic care approaches for emergency patients.
