Abstract

The Effect of Financial Performance on Stock Prices in Telecommunications Sub Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial performance on stock prices in telecommunications sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. This study used a sample of 8 companies. The test used to test this research is the classical assumption test which consists of multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and heteroscedasticity test. Multiple linear analysis and hypothesis testing consisting of the coefficient of determination and partial t test. The results showed that partially the Total Assets Turnover (X1) variable had a positive and significant effect on Stock Prices(Y), the Dept to Equity Ratio variable (X2) had a negative and not significant effect on Stock Prices (Y), Return on Assets (X3) had a negative and no effect significant to the Stock Price (Y).

Abstract

The capital market plays an important role in the life of a country to encourage economic growth. In the capital market, the share price of a company can be used to measure the financial performance of a company, so that under reasonable and normal conditions, the share price of a company can be seen as an increase in its financial performance. A country's stock market is often sensitive to surrounding events, even unusual ones. The aim of the research is to determine the difference in exchange rates on returns before and after the announcement of the first case of the Covid-19 pandemic in automotive and component sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research approach used is the event study method to analyze the market response to events because it compares differences in exchange rates, market capitalization, trading volume activity on returns and abnormal returns before and after the announcement of the first case of the Covid-19 pandemic in automotive and component subsector companies. listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The research results show that stock trading frequency has no significant effect on stock returns, trading volume has no significant effect on stock returns, market capitalization value has no significant effect on stock returns, stock prices have no significant effect on stock returns, trading days have no significant effect on stock returns.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship skills are essential competencies for the younger generation to face future job market challenges. This activity aims to enhance the entrepreneurship skills of SMA Nusantara Balikpapan students through training using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach. The training method encompasses five main stages: pretest, material provision, training, discussion, and post-test. Initially, the pretest measures the students' initial knowledge and entrepreneurship skills. Subsequently, materials on the basic concepts of entrepreneurship and BMC were provided as a theoretical foundation. Intensive training focused on applying BMC in designing business models. Discussions, encouraged collaboration and idea sharing among students. In the final stage, a post-test evaluated the improvement in students' skills and understanding after the training. The results indicated a significant increase in students' entrepreneurial knowledge and skills following the training. Data from the pretest and post-test were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, confirming the training's effectiveness with BMC implementation. Additionally, students showed increased motivation and interest in developing their business ideas. In conclusion, entrepreneurship training with the BMC approach effectively enhances the skills and understanding of SMA Nusantara Balikpapan students. This program is expected to be adopted by other schools to prepare students for the workforce and foster a generation that is creative, innovative, and ready for entrepreneurship.
