Abstract

This study examines the motivation to go to sea among youth, North Galesong. The research method used is a qualitative case study type. Sources of data in this study are divided into two kinds of categories, namely primary and secondary sources. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the motivation of youth to become fishermen comes from intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation is obtained from within the individual with conscious considerations such as an understanding of the economic potential of their area, an understanding of technology and an understanding of fishing skills. While the external motivation is obtained from outside the youth, such as the pressure to fulfill economic needs, support and even coercion from the family

Abstract

The Effect of Financial Performance on Stock Prices in Telecommunications Sub Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial performance on stock prices in telecommunications sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. This study used a sample of 8 companies. The test used to test this research is the classical assumption test which consists of multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, and heteroscedasticity test. Multiple linear analysis and hypothesis testing consisting of the coefficient of determination and partial t test. The results showed that partially the Total Assets Turnover (X1) variable had a positive and significant effect on Stock Prices(Y), the Dept to Equity Ratio variable (X2) had a negative and not significant effect on Stock Prices (Y), Return on Assets (X3) had a negative and no effect significant to the Stock Price (Y).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran inovasi produk dan proses dalam meningkatkan keunggulan bersaing Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) kuliner di Kota Makassar. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan mengumpulkan data dari sejumlah pelaku UKM melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi produk, seperti pengembangan menu baru yang sesuai dengan preferensi konsumen, dan inovasi proses, seperti efisiensi operasional dan penerapan teknologi, berkontribusi signifikan terhadap daya saing UKM. Faktor pendukung lain, seperti kemampuan manajerial dan pemanfaatan digital marketing, turut memperkuat hubungan ini. Studi ini memberikan implikasi praktis bahwa UKM kuliner harus terus berinovasi secara berkelanjutan untuk menghadapi persaingan yang semakin ketat di pasar. Penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi untuk memperkuat strategi inovasi melalui kemitraan strategis dan penggunaan teknologi digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of risk management as a moderating variable in strengthening the relationship between financial literacy and investment decisions. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 50 respondents in Indonesia who had at least one year of investment experience. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results showed that financial literacy has a positive but insignificant effect on investment decisions. In contrast, risk management is proven to have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions, and is able to significantly moderate the relationship between financial literacy and investment decisions. These findings confirm that financial literacy alone is not enough; risk management skills are essential to improve the quality of investment decision making. This study provides theoretical contributions by integrating financial literacy and risk management as important factors in investment behavior, and offers practical recommendations to improve risk literacy and awareness in the community.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Gratification Control Program in preventing conflicts of interest in the Inspectorate of Central Papua Province. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with seven employees as informants. The results of the study indicate that this program reflects a strong commitment to preventing corruption through socialization, training, and clear operational guidelines. However, its effectiveness still needs to be improved due to lack of employee understanding, low participation, and minimal management support. With regular evaluation and compliance with policies, this program has the potential to create a cleaner and more accountable government.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja, disiplin kerja, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Yayasan Kristen Wamena Kabupaten Jayawijaya. Pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan teknik sampel jenuh, di mana seluruh pegawai yayasan dijadikan responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) melalui aplikasi SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dengan nilai t-statistic < 1,96 dan p-value > 0,05. Sebaliknya, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan t-statistic = 2,522 dan p-value = 0,012. Selain itu, analisis R-square menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen secara simultan menjelaskan 60,6% variansi kinerja pegawai. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa lingkungan kerja merupakan faktor utama dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, sementara motivasi dan disiplin kerja belum cukup memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan. Oleh karena itu, yayasan perlu memprioritaskan peningkatan lingkungan kerja guna meningkatkan produktivitas pegawai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja pegawai dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pelayanan publik di Distrik Nabire Kota. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterbatasan jumlah pegawai, kurangnya pelatihan, serta minimnya inovasi dalam sistem pelayanan menghambat efektivitas layanan. Selain itu, rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat disebabkan oleh kurangnya kanal komunikasi yang efektif dan respons pemerintah terhadap keluhan publik. Implikasi dari temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan pegawai, optimalisasi digitalisasi layanan, serta peningkatan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam evaluasi pelayanan publik. Reformasi birokrasi berbasis transparansi dan akuntabilitas menjadi strategi utama untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan dalam cakupan wilayah dan metode yang digunakan, sehingga penelitian lanjutan direkomendasikan untuk memperluas analisis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kajian terhadap efektivitas inovasi digital dalam pelayanan publik.

Abstract

PT.Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, menargetkan kredit terhadap Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah dan Kredit Usaha Rakyat pada akhir tahun 2022 mencapai 80%. Dimana nilai kredit per segmen pertumbuhannya sebesar 5,2%, dan sebarannya dimasing-masing segmen masih didominasi oleh Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah dan Kredit Usaha Rakyat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Alokasi Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) pada periode tahun 2019-2020.Penelitian ini dilakukan di unit BRI Bantimurung Kabupaten Maros. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang terdaftar sebagai kreditur BRI sebagai pengguna Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR), dengan jumlah total Populasi 200 kreditur. Penetapan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel, sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 200 kreditur sebagai responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : Alokasi Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Bank Rakyat Indonesia pada unit BRI Bantimurung, Kabupaten Maros. Berdasarkan output AMOS diketahui bahwa angka C.R adalah 10.737 yang lebih besar dari nilai kritis (critical value) ± 1.96; dengan demikian, Hipotesis diterima; dengan kata lain, secara parsial terdapat pengaruh signifikan Alokasi Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR) terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Bank Rakyat Indonesia pada unit BRI Bantimurung Kabupaten Marosi.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of financial literacy and access to financing on the financial performance of SMEs and manufacturing companies in Makassar, Indonesia, with business strategy as a moderating variable. Using a quantitative, explanatory research design and a sample of 96 respondents, data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling with the SmartPLS tool. The results reveal that financial literacy does not significantly impact financial performance, suggesting that knowledge alone may not translate into better financial outcomes. Conversely, access to financing has a significant positive effect on financial performance, highlighting the critical role of financial resources in business development. Furthermore, business strategy does not moderate the relationship between financial literacy and performance but does negatively moderate the relationship between access to financing and performance. This indicates that misalignment between financing utilization and strategy may hinder financial improvements. The study contributes to understanding how internal capabilities and strategic orientation influence performance outcomes and offers practical insights for SMEs in aligning strategies with financial decisions. Future research should explore other moderating factors to deepen understanding of these dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the work environment and career development on the job satisfaction of Yihai ship crews under Raffles Ship Management Pte Ltd. Given the unique and challenging nature of maritime work, both factors are considered crucial in shaping crew satisfaction. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, with data collected from 35 ship crew members selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results revealed that the work environment did not have a significant impact on job satisfaction. Conversely, career development showed a positive and significant influence. When assessed simultaneously, both variables contributed meaningfully to job satisfaction. These findings underscore the importance of prioritizing structured and ongoing career development programs to enhance employee welfare and satisfaction. For Raffles Ship Management Pte Ltd, this study provides valuable insights for formulating effective policies aimed at boosting the motivation, performance, and long-term retention of their ship crews.
