Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of the Board of Commissioners in improving good corporate governance, with a focus on the legal perspective and its implementation. Good corporate governance is considered important in supporting company growth and sustainability. The method used is the normative legal research method, which is a research approach that focuses on the analysis and interpretation of existing legal norms. This research uses secondary data, such as statutory regulations, court decisions, legal theory, and the opinions of scholars as the main source of information. It is hoped that the results of this research can identify the role of the Board of Commissioners in improving good corporate governance. The legal perspective will provide an understanding of the regulatory framework that governs corporate governance, while implementation will evaluate the effectiveness of practices carried out by the Board of Commissioners. In this research, it is hoped that challenges and obstacles faced by the Board of Commissioners will be discovered in carrying out their role as well as recommendations for increasing their effectiveness. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to understanding the importance of the role of the Board of Commissioners in creating good corporate governance in a legal context.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the potential of siwalan skewer woven plates as a typical local product of Pragaan Daya Village, Sumenep, and consider the need for Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection for these products. The background of this research is the great potential of local handicraft products that have not been fully utilized and legally protected, so that they are at risk of unauthorized reproduction. The formulation of the problems raised includes the potential cultural and economic value of this product, as well as challenges in the IPR registration process. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews and participatory observation to collect data from artisans and local community leaders. The results of the study show that siwalan skewer woven plates have unique raw materials and traditional woven techniques that are inherited from generation to generation. IPR protection is expected to increase product added value, strengthen local identity, and encourage the economic welfare of the Pragaan Daya community. Support from the government is needed to facilitate the IPR registration process and overcome the obstacles faced by the community in understanding the procedures and registration costs.

Abstract

Outpainting is one of art technologies based on artificial intelligence. Feature contained in TikTok application is able to expand uploaded the image. The image expansion system is supported by application of AI technology that is able to fill in empty parts of original image. this benefit can be achieved by identifying work patterns and understanding results of feature. It is necessary to understand concept of applying AI technology to produce images that are wider than the original photo. Therefore, an attempt was made to examine content results of Outpainting from perspective of elegant composition design. The experiment was conducted by uploading two photos that have different compositions, objects, complexity, and details of each image. In addition, the discussion of output results of technology is to find advantages and disadvantages of Outpainting feature found in TikTok application. Research strategies uses a descriptive process with trials and literature sources so as to explore good quality and in-depth data.
