Abstract

This study explores the implementation of an eclipse diorama project as a strategy to enhance students' scientific literacy. In the Contact phase, the teacher introduces the phenomenon of solar eclipses, sparking students' curiosity. In the Curiosity phase, students are given the opportunity to delve deeper into the topic, developing their inquiry skills. The Elaboration phase involves students in diorama projects, allowing them to apply their knowledge in a practical context. A descriptive qualitative research method is used to observe these stages. It was found that through this approach, students' motivation increased, their inquiry skills were enhanced, and their understanding of scientific concepts deepened in three steps. Thus, the implementation of the eclipse diorama project provides holistic understanding and a profound learning experience for students, preparing them to tackle scientific challenges and the demands of the 21st century.

Abstract

This research explored the application of the Pancasila Student Profile in differentiated learning for fifth-grade students at Supriyadi Elementary School in Semarang. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results indicated that while differentiated learning successfully integrated Pancasila values and enhanced student character development, challenges related to time management, teacher preparation, and consistent value application remained. The study concluded that further teacher training and strengthening Pancasila values within differentiated learning are crucial for improving the overall educational experience and fostering students' academic success and character growth.

Abstract

Berdasarkan UU Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 pasal 3 tentang tujuan pendidikan nasional. Pendidikan dasar berfungsi sebagai fondasi penting dalam membentuk generasi penerus yang unggul, dengan guru berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas pendidikan. Literasi, sebagai keterampilan membaca dan menulis, sangat penting di era digital. Salah satu cara meningkatkan literasi adalah melalui penulisan cerpen. Teknologi pendidikan, seperti AI (Artificial Intelligence), dapat membantu dalam proses ini. Chat GPT, sebuah sistem kecerdasan buatan, dapat memberikan rekomendasi dalam pembuatan cerpen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Supriyadi Semarang, dengan melibatkan siswa kelas VI A dalam kegiatan penulisan cerpen berbantuan AI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Chat GPT dalam menulis cerpen meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa antusias dan kreatif dalam kegiatan ini, membuktikan bahwa penggunaan AI efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi siswa di SD Supriyadi Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the model for organizing the empowerment of batik arts at SD Supriyadi Semarang. The research subjects were school administrators, assistants and facilitators in empowering the batik life skills. Data collection was carried out in stages according to what the researchers needed. The techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The stages of data analysis in this study are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Data reduction is meant by summarizing data, choose the main things, arranged systematically. Presentation of data aims to make it easier for researchers to understand the research results that have been obtained. Source triangulation was carried out to explain the validity of the data with various sources in finding the required information. The implementation of the SDN batik life skills empowerment program in Pandak District was carried out through several stages, namely: (1) Developing a strategic plan for batik life skills education and training through empowerment for schools that were the object and subject of the training. (2) Compile: a) batik curriculum for elementary school students, b) batik competency standards, c) indicators of competency achievement in batik and teaching batik for teachers, d) develop indicators of competency achievement in batik for elementary school students. (3) Providing experienced instructors to support empowerment activities.
