Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya perlindungan konsumen terhadap peredaran makanan kedaluwarsa di Kota Kupang. Masalah makanan kedaluarsa menjadi perhatian serius karena dapat membahayakan kesehatan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data di kumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa meskipun sudah ada peraturan yang mengatur tentang makanan kedaluwarsa implementasi di lapangan masih kurang optimal. Faktor – faktor seperti kurangnya pengawasan dari pihak berwenang, rendahnya kesadaran konsumen, serta minimnya sanksi yang tegas bagi pelanggar menjadi kendala utama dalam perlindungan konsumen. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pengawasan, edukasi konsumen, serta penegakan hukum yang lebih tegas untuk mengurangi peredaran makanan kedaluwarsa Kota Kupang.

Abstract

Aplikasi mobile banking telah menjadi bagian integral dari kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat modern, memfasilitasi transaksi keuangan dengan cara yang lebih efisien dan praktis. Penelitian ini menginvestigasi peran aplikasi mobile banking dalam mempermudah transaksi harian dan dampaknya terhadap aspek ekonomi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan responden pengguna aktif di Indonesia, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa penggunaan aplikasi ini tidak hanya mengurangi biaya transaksi dan meningkatkan efisiensi waktu, tetapi juga memperluas akses terhadap layanan keuangan, khususnya di daerah-daerah terpencil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mobile banking berpotensi untuk meningkatkan inklusi keuangan dan stabilitas sistem keuangan, serta berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi yang inklusif. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pengembangan teknologi keuangan digital yang aman dan terjangkau untuk mendukung pembangunan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan di masa depan.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and implement an algorithm that can calculate the minimum Final Semester Examination (UAS) score required to pass a course. In the higher education system, evaluation of student academic performance is carried out through various assessment components such as assignments, quizzes, Mid-Semester Examinations (UTS), and UAS. Often, students have difficulty determining the minimum score they must obtain on the UAS to achieve an overall score sufficient to pass the course. This problem was overcome by developing an algorithm that utilizes value data that has been obtained from other assessment components to calculate the minimum value required on the UAS. This research also includes evaluating the effectiveness of the algorithm through a series of trials with different value data. Test results show that this algorithm provides accurate and reliable results. Apart from that, this algorithm is able to help students plan their study strategies better, because they can know with certainty the minimum score that must be achieved on the UAS to pass the course. Overall, this research makes a significant contribution to the field of education, especially in helping students understand and manage evaluations of their academic performance. It is hoped that this algorithm can be integrated into various learning tools and applications to maximize its benefits for students in various educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the understanding of financial literacy among accounting and non-accounting students at the University of Widya Mandira (UNWIRA) Kupang using a qualitative approach. Financial literacy is an essential competency that supports individuals in making sound financial decisions, especially for students who are expected to manage their personal and professional finances responsibly. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through in-depth interviews and observations. Participants consisted of students from accounting and non-accounting programs, selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns and differences in financial literacy understanding between the two groups. The findings reveal that accounting students generally possess a better conceptual and practical understanding of financial literacy—particularly in budgeting, saving, and investment management—due to their academic exposure to finance-related courses. In contrast, non-accounting students tend to have a more limited understanding and focus mainly on basic aspects of personal finance management. However, both groups still show weaknesses in long-term financial planning and investment risk assessment. This study highlights the importance of integrating financial literacy education across all university programs to improve students’ financial competencies and better prepare them to face future economic challenges.
