ABSTRACT The tendency of elementary school students to play the online game Mobile Legends excessively leads to various negative impacts, ranging from decreased learning concentration to the emergence of inappropriate language use in daily interactions. This study focuses on reducing such gaming habits through the application of the token economy technique as a behavior modification strategy for a fifth-grade student who shows symptoms of game addiction. The research employed a single-subject design with an A-B-A pattern over a two-month period and involved giving tokens each time the subject demonstrated positive behaviors such as reducing gaming duration, completing school assignments on time, and maintaining a regular sleep routine. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and daily monitoring sheets completed by parents and teachers. The results indicate a reduction of more than 80% in gaming duration compared to the initial condition, accompanied by improved learning discipline and more consistent sleep patterns during the intervention phase. These findings confirm that the token economy technique is effective in reducing game addiction behavior and enhancing academic responsibility in elementary school students. ABSTRAK Kecenderungan bermain game online Mobile Legends secara berlebihan pada siswa sekolah dasar menimbulkan berbagai dampak negatif, mulai dari penurunan konsentrasi belajar hingga munculnya penggunaan bahasa kasar dalam interaksi sehari-hari. Penelitian ini berfokus pada upaya mengurangi kebiasaan bermain game tersebut melalui penerapan teknik token economy sebagai strategi modifikasi perilaku pada seorang siswa kelas V yang menunjukkan kecenderungan kecanduan bermain game. Metode yang digunakan adalah single-subject design dengan pola A-B-A, dilaksanakan selama dua bulan, dan mencakup pemberian token setiap kali subjek memperlihatkan perilaku positif seperti mengurangi durasi bermain game, menyelesaikan tugas sekolah tepat waktu, serta menjaga pola tidur. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta lembar pemantauan harian dari orang tua dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penurunan durasi bermain game hingga lebih dari 80% dibandingkan kondisi awal, disertai peningkatan disiplin belajar dan perbaikan pola tidur secara konsisten selama fase intervensi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa teknik token economy efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku kecanduan game dan meningkatkan tanggung jawab akademik pada siswa sekolah dasar.
