Abstract

This study aims to develop a bioclimatic design framework for the Pantai Alam Aquatic Center in Bulukumba Regency, Indonesia, tailored to the local humid climate. Bioclimatic architecture, which integrates climatic data and environmental considerations into building design, is employed to enhance energy efficiency and user comfort. This design includes the use of natural ventilation, natural lighting, and local materials, proven to be effective in creating energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. Through literature analysis and case studies, this research demonstrates that the application of bioclimatic principles can reduce energy consumption and improve thermal comfort. The findings underscore the importance of climate considerations in architectural design, especially in tropical regions. The conclusion of this study is that bioclimatic design is not only relevant but also critical for the development of sustainable and climate-adaptive public facilities. Further research is needed to monitor long-term performance and apply it to other building types. This project provides a model that can be adapted for public facilities in other tropical regions, promoting more environmentally friendly design practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja jaringan enterprise di SMK Handayani Makassar yang berperan penting dalam mendukung pembelajaran digital dan operasional sekolah. Permasalahan utama yang diidentifikasi meliputi cakupan sinyal Wi-Fi yang tidak merata, ketidakstabilan kecepatan akses, interferensi antar perangkat, serta ketiadaan sistem monitoring jaringan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan memadukan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif melalui observasi lapangan, pengukuran kekuatan sinyal, kecepatan internet, latency, serta analisis trafik menggunakan perangkat lunak Wireshark dan Wi-Fi Analyzer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa distribusi Access Point belum optimal, sebagian besar perangkat masih menggunakan frekuensi 2.4 GHz yang rentan terhadap interferensi, dan terjadi ketidakseimbangan trafik antar area sekolah. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan solusi berupa penataan ulang posisi Access Point, peningkatan perangkat ke teknologi dual-band, penerapan topologi hybrid star–mesh, segmentasi VLAN, QoS, serta penerapan sistem monitoring real-time. Rekomendasi tambahan mencakup integrasi sistem otomatisasi berbasis sensor untuk mendukung efisiensi energi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan infrastruktur jaringan di lingkungan sekolah kejuruan yang memiliki kebutuhan akses internet tinggi
