Abstract

Online game addiction is a major concern for society today. Even though there is a lot of research devoted to efforts to reduce the level of online game addiction, the lack of research discussing the prevention of online game addiction is still an issue. The aim of this activity is to explore various options for preventing online game addiction, especially among teenagers as a group that is vulnerable to this problem. Teenagers, as the age group that faces the most obstacles related to the use of online games, require special attention. Preventing online game addiction in teenagers is essential considering its impact covering health, psychological, academic, social and financial aspects in their lives. The importance of this service activity is to prevent the bad effects of online game addiction which can disrupt teenagers' lives. The hope is that this activity can make a significant contribution to efforts to prevent online gaming addiction, while supporting future research to explore broader prevention alternatives.

Abstract

Adolescence is the stage between childhood and adulthood. This period is also called puberty which is the connecting period between childhood and adulthood. Counseling is a form of effort to provide non-formal education to individuals or community groups which is carried out in a systematic, structured, planned and directed manner in an effort to change sustainable behavior. in order to achieve increased production, income and improved welfare. The aim is to increase teenagers' knowledge of information related to reproductive health so they can behave healthily. As a result of this activity, there are still some teenagers who do not understand the importance of maintaining health during adolescence, so it is hoped that by carrying out this counseling, teenagers will increase the interest and awareness of participants to participate in health education. Increase participants' knowledge about the importance of maintaining reproductive health during adolescence.

Abstract

Female Genital Mutilation and Injury (FGM) or female circumcision is an old practice that is still widely practiced in various parts of the world, including Indonesia. Female circumcision is a process of removing or cutting half or all of the clitoris (clitoridectomy), removing the clitoris and half or all of the labia minora (excision), or cutting some or all of the extero-genital (outer genitals) by sewing or narrowing the vaginal area (infibulation). Female circumcision currently has no medical indication and has not been proven to have health benefits. Female circumcision is still widely practiced for various reasons, both cultural traditions and religious recommendations. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors for female circumcision. Research methods: This type of research uses a scooping review to identify literature in depth and comprehensively obtained from various sources with various research methods and interest in the research topic. Results: The results of this study state that female circumcision has several risk factors including bleeding, bacterial infection, can cause trauma and shock and reduce sexual sensitivity and libido. Female circumcision is just a tradition or culture in society where the act has no benefits and health basis. It is expected that monitoring of female circumcision or the practice of circumcision and seeking the latest information on circumcision in girls will be carried out in order to maintain the health of the community.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety is a psychological disorder that commonly occurs during pregnancy. The third trimester of pregnancy (TM III) is a time of active preparation for the birth of a baby and a change in the role of being a parent, such as focusing attention on the presence of the baby, most pregnant women are in a state of anxiety, the underlying thing is that the mother feels worried about the birth process that she will face. The Scoping Review was carried out with the aim of mapping existing evidence regarding the factors that influence anxiety in pregnant women. The databases used are Pubmed and Google Scholar with inclusion criteria in the form of original articles, published in 2019-2024, published in Indonesian, articles discussing what factors can influence anxiety in pregnant women, free full text articles and open access.

Abstract

Cervical cancer generally affects women aged between 15 and 49 years. Globally in 2020, there were 19.2 million new cancer cases which caused nearly 10 million deaths, according to data from WHO. The WHO cancer profile also recorded around 604,127 cases of cervical cancer worldwide, where this incidence was the second largest in Asia with a percentage of 58.2%, or around 351,720 individuals affected by the disease. In Indonesia, based on data from Global Burden Cancer (GLOBCAN) described in the Indonesia Cancer Care Community (ICCC) article, cervical cancer is in second place in terms of the highest number of sufferers after breast cancer in women, with around 32,469 cases (17.2%) and the death rate was around 18,279 people (8.8%). Objective. Knowing the Relationship between Cervical Cancer Knowledge and Early Detection of Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid (IVA) in Women of Childbearing Age in Tawaang Barat Subdistrict, Manado City in 2023 Research Method. This research uses quantitative research with analytical survey methods and a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was women of childbearing age aged 25-49 years. The sample was taken using Cluster random sampling, obtaining a sample of 135 respondents. Data analysis used Chi square. Results. For sufficient knowledge, 53 people (39.3%), 78 people (57.8%) did not carry out early detection. The results of Chi square analysis for the relationship between knowledge of cervical cancer and early detection of VIA examination are p value (0.000) ˂α (0.05).

Abstract

Kehamilan merupakan masa yang paling penting dan juga kritis bagi wanita dalam kehidupannya, pada masa kehamilannya wanita akan mengalami perubahan fisik, psikis dan juga emosi serta dapat mempengaruhi pada kesehatan mental ibu. Kesehatan mental juga dapat dikaitkan dengan kecemasan selama kehamilan. Scoping review yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk memetakan bukti yang ada tentang faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi kesehatan mental ibu hamil. Database yang digunakan Pubmed, Ebscho, Sience Direct dan grey literatur yaitu Google Scholar dengan kriteria inklusi original artikel, terbit diatas tahun 2017 diterbitkan menggunakan bahasa inggris, artikel yang membahas tentang tentang faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi kesehatan mental ibu hamil , artikel free full text dan open access. Kriteria eksklusi artikel review, artikel opini, dokumen/pedoman organisasi. Kelayakan artikel dinilai Menggunakan Joanna Briggs Institute tools (JBI), dan Critical Appraisal Programme (CSAP) faktor penyebab terganggunya mental ibu hamil yaitu dapat dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya dukungan suami dan keluarga, lingkungan sosial dan juga status ekonomi serta kurangnya pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang dimiliki ibu.

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is a vulnerable period regarding information about sex. Teenagers need people around them, especially parents, to guide them in providing sex education. Therefore, parents must have the knowledge and insight to help teenagers understand sex as early as possible. Objective: to find out the description of parents' knowledge about sex education for teenagers. Method: This research uses a descriptive method with a cross sectional approach. The total sample was 30 respondents. Results: of the 30 respondents, 11 respondents had a good level of knowledge, while there were 10 respondents in the sufficient category and 9 respondents in the poor category. Conclusion: 4 respondents graduated from junior high school, 18 respondents graduated from high school and 8 respondents graduated from bachelor's degrees. Of the respondents who were junior high school graduates, 1 respondent had sufficient knowledge and 2 respondents had insufficient knowledge. There were 5 respondents who graduated from high school who had good knowledge, 6 respondents who had sufficient knowledge and 7 respondents who had poor knowledge. Of the 8 respondents who graduated from bachelor's degrees, 5 respondents had good knowledge, 2 had sufficient knowledge and 1 respondent had poor knowledge.
