Abstract

This research investigates Romera’s local linearization approach as a variance prediction method in partial least squares (PLS) regression. By addressing limitations in the original PLS regression formula, the local linearization approach aims to improve accuracy and stability in variance predictions. Extensive simulations are conducted to assess the method's performance, demonstrating its superiority over traditional algebraic methods and showcasing its computational advantages, particularly with a large number of predictors. Additionally, the study introduces a novel computational technique utilizing bootstrap parameters, enhancing computational stability and robustness. Overall, the research provides valuable insights into the local linearization approach's effectiveness, guiding researchers and practitioners in selecting more reliable and efficient regression modeling techniques.

Abstract

Perancangan Sistem Informasi Penjualan Kue di Toko Donatawa Berbasis Web dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan proses bisnis yang masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan buku besar dan komunikasi melalui SMS sehingga pemesanan memerlukan waktu lama, perhitungan biaya rentan kesalahan, dan pencatatan laporan tidak efisien. Sistem yang dikembangkan menyediakan katalog produk kue, fasilitas pemesanan online, keranjang belanja, konfirmasi pembayaran, serta pelaporan penjualan yang terintegrasi. Penelitian menggunakan metodologi Waterfall dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan menggunakan UML, implementasi menggunakan PHP dan MySQL pada platform XAMPP, pengujian dengan metode blackbox, serta perencanaan pemeliharaan. Basis data dirancang dengan sebelas tabel utama yang mengelola data admin, pelanggan, produk, pemesanan, pembayaran, pengiriman, dan entitas terkait lainnya. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mempermudah promosi produk, mempercepat proses pemesanan dan penjualan, meningkatkan akurasi data pemesanan dan laporan penjualan, serta memberikan kemudahan bagi pelanggan untuk memperoleh informasi tanpa harus datang langsung ke toko. Sistem ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap digitalisasi proses penjualan pada usaha kecil, khususnya UMKM toko kue, dengan menyediakan rancangan sistem informasi penjualan berbasis web yang dapat direplikasi pada usaha sejenis.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the development of the creative economy value chain through downstream renewable energy at the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) level in Medan Johor District. The background of this research is based on the still low integration of renewable energy utilization in MSME production activities, despite the creative economy sector having significant potential to increase product added value through sustainability-based innovation. The research problem formulation in this study is how to develop a creative economy value chain integrated with downstream renewable energy and its impact on increasing MSME competitiveness. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach supported by quantitative data. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews with MSME creative economy actors, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted by mapping the value chain from raw material procurement, production processes, renewable energy utilization, to product distribution and marketing. The research results show that integrating renewable energy, such as the use of small-scale solar panels and biomass, can reduce operational costs, increase production efficiency, and strengthen the image of environmentally friendly products. Downstreaming renewable energy also encourages the creation of innovative, sustainability-based creative products with higher sales value. However, the main obstacles still lie in limited capital, technological literacy, and access to technical assistance. This research confirms that strengthening the creative economy value chain based on renewable energy has the potential to become a strategy for sustainable MSME development at the local level, particularly in Medan Johor, through collaboration between the government, business actors, and supporting institutions. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengembangan rantai nilai (value chain) ekonomi kreatif melalui hilirisasi energi terbarukan pada tingkat Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kecamatan Medan Johor. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada masih rendahnya integrasi pemanfaatan energi terbarukan dalam aktivitas produksi UMKM, padahal sektor ekonomi kreatif memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah produk melalui inovasi berbasis keberlanjutan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana model pengembangan rantai nilai ekonomi kreatif yang terintegrasi dengan hilirisasi energi terbarukan serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan daya saing UMKM. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan dukungan data kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam kepada pelaku UMKM ekonomi kreatif, serta studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan memetakan rantai nilai mulai dari penyediaan bahan baku, proses produksi, pemanfaatan energi terbarukan, hingga distribusi dan pemasaran produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi energi terbarukan, seperti pemanfaatan panel surya skala kecil dan biomassa, mampu menekan biaya operasional, meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, serta memperkuat citra produk ramah lingkungan. Hilirisasi energi terbarukan juga mendorong terciptanya inovasi produk kreatif berbasis keberlanjutan yang memiliki nilai jual lebih tinggi. Namun, kendala utama masih terletak pada keterbatasan modal, literasi teknologi, dan akses terhadap pendampingan teknis. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penguatan rantai nilai ekonomi kreatif berbasis energi terbarukan berpotensi menjadi strategi pembangunan UMKM berkelanjutan di tingkat lokal, khususnya di Medan Johor, melalui kolaborasi antara pemerintah, pelaku usaha, dan lembaga pendukung.

Abstract

The increasing demand for food and beverages in North Sumatra will undoubtedly create business opportunities for the community. The rapid growth of the food and beverage business is evident in the large number of people engaged in culinary businesses. Individual economic stability is a crucial prerequisite for achieving well-being and financial independence. The Community Service Program (PKM), entitled Education on Spatial Planning Concepts and Menu Creativity for Visitor Interest aims to increase literacy, interest, and skills in spatial planning concepts through outreach and discussion. This activity involves introducing the basic concepts of personal economic stability and fostering interest in initiating spatial planning concepts and creativity among business owners. These findings indicate that the program has successfully motivated business owners to develop or modify existing concepts to make students feel comfortable purchasing from their stalls. Creativity in exploring food courts based on local wisdom is expressed through interior design inspired by a particular ethnic group, showcasing its distinctive elements. Furthermore, the comfort and ambiance of the food court are key reasons for visitors to visit. This research is highly relevant for several reasons. First, the ever-growing and competitive nature of food courts makes it crucial to understand how to leverage local wisdom to differentiate and attract customers. Second, food courts play an increasingly significant role in business and culture, making it crucial to understand their business practices, including creativity within the food court context. Finally, with increasing globalization and homogenization in the food and beverage industry, emphasizing local wisdom can help maintain cultural and culinary diversity.
