Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, unemployment and government spending on poverty in North Sumatra in 1991-2020. This study uses time series data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of North Sumatra. This study uses the Error Correction Model (ECM) analysis method. To determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable in the short term and Multiple Linear Regression to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent in the long term. From the results of the ECM estimation or short-term analysis, it shows that only the inflation variable has a significant and positive effect on the poverty level in North Sumatra. In the long term, the unemployment variable has been shown to have a significant and positive effect on poverty. On the other hand, in the short term it is also proven that changes in unemployment have a significant and positive effect on poverty. In the long term, the variable of government expenditure has been shown to have a significant and negative effect on poverty.

Abstract

This scientific work discusses the legal protection of savings and loan cooperative funds related to bad credit in the city of Denpasar because bad credit can have an impact on the funds owned and the health of savings and loan cooperatives, especially in the city of Denpasar. This scientific work uses empirical research methods, namely an approach by looking at a legal reality in society from legal theories by conducting research directly into the field to get accurate truths. The conclusion from this scientific work is that savings and loan cooperatives in the city of Denpasar in practice provide credit by entering into an agreement accompanied by collateral. The protection of savings and loan cooperative funds is the responsibility of the cooperative and its management as executors of the activities carried out by the cooperative.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of human capital variables on poverty levels in the North Sumatra region. Human capital is measured through education, health and employment factors. The multiple regression method is used to understand the extent to which human capital variables influence poverty levels in this region. This research uses quantitative methods with a multiple regression analysis model. As a result of data analysis, several important conclusions can be drawn regarding the influence of human capital on poverty levels in North Sumatra. This research examines and analyzes the impact of human capital (education, health and employment) on poverty levels in North Sumatra Province. The research conclusion shows that there is a significant and positive influence simultaneously between education, health and employment on poverty levels. Apart from that, partially, education, health and employment also have a significant and positive influence on reducing poverty levels. With an increase in these three variables, the poverty level tends to decrease significantly and positively.
