Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan survey World Health Organization sebanyak 1/5 penduduk di dunia adalah remaja berusia 10-19 tahun. Sedangkan di Indonesia, prosentase penduduk remaja berusia 10-19 tahun berjumlah sebesar 18% atau 43,5 juta. Namun Salah satu perkembangan revolusi industri 4.0 merupakan sebuah lompatan besar di sektor teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Perkembangan teknologi yang cukup pesat sehingga munculnya smartphone diikuti permasalahan remaja yang sangat kompleks salah satunya sexting. Tujuan penelitian untuk untuk mengetahui korelasi penggunaan smartphone terhadap perilaku sexting pada remaja di MA “X” Bulukumba di masa pandemi. Jenis penelitian metode kuantitatif dengan Rancangan penelitian menggunakan desain koefision korelasi, Populasi dalam penelitian sebanyak 81, berdasarkan hasil kriteria untuk menentukan sampel yang akan diteliti meliputi kriteria inklusi maka sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 35 responden. Berdasarkan penelitian, hasil penelitian bahwa dari 35 responden didapatkan penggunaan smartphone kategori negatif lebih banyak yaitu 65,7% di bandingkan dengan penggunaan smartphonekategori positif 34,3% sehingga berdampak pada perilaku remaja dimana terdapat 74,3% yang berperilaku sexting. Pada hasil penelitian didapatkan dari 35 responden yang berperilaku sexting lebih tinggi yaitu 26 (74,3%) responden. Pada hasil uji korelasi antara penggunaan smartphone terhadap perilaku sexting adalah berkorelasi sedang (r=0,539) dan hubungan tersebut secara statistik adalah ada hubungan yang signifikan (p=0,00). Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa ada korelasi antara penggunaan smartphone terhadap perilaku sexting, walaupun hanya termasuk kategori berkorelasi sedang. ABSTRACT Based on a World Health Organization survey, 1/5 of the world's population are teenagers aged 10-19 years. Meanwhile in Indonesia, the percentage of the teenage population aged 10-19 years is 18% or 43.5 million. However, one of the developments in the industrial revolution 4.0 is a big leap in the information and communication technology sector. Technological developments are quite rapid so that the emergence of smartphones is followed by very complex teenage problems, one of which is sexting. The aim of the research is to determine the correlation between smartphone use and sexting behavior among teenagers at MA "X" Bulukumba during the pandemic. This type of research is a quantitative method with a research design using a correlation coefficient design. The population in the study was 81, based on the results of the criteria for determining the sample to be studied including inclusion criteria, the sample in this study was 35 respondents. Based on the research, the results showed that from 35 respondents it was found that the use of smartphones in the negative category was greater, namely 65.7%, compared to the use of smartphones in the positive category, 34.3%, thus having an impact on teenage behavior, where there were 74.3% who behaved in sexting. The research results showed that 35 respondents had higher sexting behavior, namely 26 (74.3%) respondents. In the test results, the correlation between smartphone use and sexting behavior is moderately correlated (r=0.539) and the relationship is statistically significant (p=0.00). It can be concluded that there is a correlation between smartphone use and sexting behavior, although it is only in the moderate correlation category.
