Abstract

Mathematics is a very important lesson given to all learners, given the development of increasingly modern technology that is in dire need of human humans to have the ability to think critically, logically and systematically.Mathematics courses need to be given to all learners to equip learners with logical, analytical, systematic, critical, and creative thinking skills. This study was conducted in order to determine the effect of critical thinking ability on student learning outcomes in the subjects of mathematics class VIII SMP 1 Sumbergempol. The method used in this research is the quantitative method. The population used in this study is class VIII SMP 1 Sumbergempol, while the sample taken is a student class VIII C amounted to 20 students. The instrument used to obtain the data in this study is a matter of description test, which amounted to 2 questions. The technique of collecting data with observation, test, and documentation. Research results obtained t count value is greater than the value t table (t count = 5.173  ³  t table = 2.101), thus Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It is evident that critical thinking has a significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes. From a result of data analysis obtained r value equal to 0,598. While the contribution of critical thinking to the result of learning mathematics is equal to 59,8% and the rest equal to 40,2% determined by other factors. The simple regression equation is: Y = 67,032 + 0,341X. The constant of 67,032 states that if the value of critical thinking is 0, then the ability to solve the student math problem is 67.032. The regression coefficient of 0.341 states that any addition of 1% value on critical thinking will improve the mathematics learning outcome of 0.341.

Abstract

Masalah gizi di Indonesia salah satunya adalah Kurang Energi Protein (KEP).Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya konsumsi bahan pangan sumber energi, salahsatunya protein. Seiring berkembangnya zaman kini telah banyak sumber nabati yang dikembangkan diantaranya adalah jamur yang dikenal mengandung protein yang cukup tinggi. Untuk mengetahui kadar protein pada jamur dapat digunakan metode Kjeldahl dan sampel yang digunakan merupakan sampel jamur segar. Penetapan kadar protein dengan metode kjeldahl dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu destruksi, destilasi dan titrasi. Pada tahap destruksi bertujuan untuk memecahkan H2S0O4 menjadi unsur-unsurnya. Kemudian pada tahap destilasi bertujuan untuk memisahkan zat yang diinginkan. Dan pada tahap titrasi bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelebihan HCl 0,1N. Kemudian dilakukan penetapan kadar nitrogen lalu kadar protein dapat ditentukan dengan mengalikan kadar nitrogen yang diperoleh dengan faktor konversi (6,25). Dari hasil penelitian kadar protein pada jamur grigit didapat kadar yaitu 2,23%.Kata kunci : jamur grigit, protein, kjeldahl.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan komponen dasar pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Latar belakang masalah didapat dari pengalaman guru bidang studi Matematika kelas VII SMPN 7 Kota Cirebon yaitu Bapak Surnadi, S.Pd dan Ibu Tuti Sri Mukarti, S.Pd, sering dijumpai siswa kelas VII yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal materi pada sub pokok bahasan perbandingan segmen garis, dikarenakan kurangnya penguasaan siswa terhadap materi mengenai bilangan pecahan khususnya pada menyederhanakan pecahan dan pecahan senilai. Selain itu juga ditemukan masalah lain, siswa yang menguasai materi mengenai bilangan pecahan, tetapi kurang mampu menyelesaikan soal-soal pada sub pokok bahasan perbandingan segmen garis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penguasaan materi bilangan pecahan, untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal pada sub pokok bahasan perbandingan segmen garis dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penguasaan materi bilangan pecahan terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal pada sub pokok perbandingan segmen garis siswa kelas VII SMPN 7 Cirebon. Pemikiran ini bertitik tolak dengan pemikiran bahwa belajar matematika akan berhasil jika proses pengajaran diarahkan pada konsep-konsep dan struktur-struktur yang terbuat dalam pokok bahasan yang diajarkan, disamping hubungan yang terkait antara konsep-konsep dan struktur-struktur tersebut. Dalam mempelajari materi perbandingan segmen garis, siswa membutuhkan materi dasar yang dapat menopang dan memudahkan siswa untuk memahami materi tersebut. Bilangan pecahan merupakan salah satu materi dasar yang sangat erat kaitannya dengan materi perbandingan segmen garis. Sehingga kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal perbandingan segmen garis siswa akan sangat dipengaruhi oleh penguasaan siswa tentang materi bilangan pecahan. Penelitian yang dilakukan di SMPN 7 Cirebon menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu tes dan populasi seluruh kelas VII yang berjumlah 384 siswa dan terdiri dari 9 kelas.Adapun pengambilan sampel 1 kelas yaitu kelas VII C yang berjumlah 43 siswa yang diambilmenggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel, yaitupenguasaan bilangan pecahan sebagai variabel bebas dan kemapuan menyelesaikan perbandingan segmen garis sebagai variabel terikat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penguasaan bilangan pecahan terhadap kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal perbandingan segmen garis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan bilangan pecahan kategori cukup. Sedangkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal perbandingan segmen garis kategori kurang. Hipotesis nilai Sig. (0,000) < α (0,05). Rsquare = 0,574, maka penguasaan bilangan pecahan merupakan materi prasyarat dari materi perbandingan segmen garis dengan kontribusisebesar 57,4%.Kata Kunci: Bilangan pecahan, Segmen garis

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of teacher pedagogical competencies on student learning motivation in terms of gender differences in social studies in class VIII. This research was carried out at Junior High School 4 Pekanbaru. The population in this study was class VIII students at Junior High School 4 Pekanbaru. The population is 332 students. With the propotional random sampling technique obtained a sample of 181 students consisting of 87 men and 94 women. Data were obtained through questionnaire instruments for pedagogical competence data of teachers and data on student motivation. The data obtained are then analyzed by simple linear regression analysis and different tests (independent t test). The results showed that the teacher's pedagogical competence had a positive effect on student learning motivation at 0.715. The learning motivation of male students is higher than the learning motivation of female students. This is evidenced by the average yield of 81.0575 for male student motivation and 76.0213 for female student motivation. Key Words: Teacher Pedagogic Competence, Student Learning Motivation, Gender

Abstract

This study was built with the aim to determine the relationship between communication patterns, with a work ethic as an intervening variable, communication on performance. Similarly, the relationship between the motivation to employee performance, motivation towards work ethic adan performance to performance. The study was conducted at the office of the Technical Unit Coordinator Department of Revenue in Probolinggo, East Java Province. As the sample is all employees in the institution totaling 150 respondents. The model used is a Structural Equation Model. Results of the study concluded that: (1) Communication Skills significant effect on work ethic. (2) Motivation employee owned significant effect on work ethic. (3) Work ethic significant effect on employee performance. (4) Communication significant effect on performance, and (5) Motivation significant effect on performance. Abstract

The decision making process in determining the right to receive the scholarship are often subjective, where there are some university students who have the ability or value that is not so different. so needed it is presence the systems that support decision making that can be used to simplify the determination of who is entitled to receive a scholarship. This system is supported by Tsukamoto fuzzy logic method that is based on the data and rules of human resources with the criteria set by the group of people. The result of this process is given to university students who are in decision-making on the basis of the acceptance of the scholarship. This software is made by using a MySQL database and IDE netbeans programme language as an instrument by which this application can help in the decision making process scholarship acceptance quickly and accurately.Keywords: Decision Making System, Scholarship, and Tsukamoto Fuzzy Logic.

Abstract

Interjection is a word used to express the feelings of the speaker. This interjection used by the author of the novel to convey the emotion or feeling that not only portrayed through the words or sentences, but also it could be delivered with the other forms of the words that interjection. The study entitled "Interjection of the novel Donyane Wong Culika' by Suparta Brata aimed to describe the forms and functions of the interjection used in the novel Donyane Wong Culika. This study was descriptive qualitative research. The research data obtained by the simak method and the note technique. These results indicate that the novel Donyane Wong Culika were two forms of the interjection: (1) primary, namely o, e, ah, lo, lha, wo, wah, heh) and (2) secondary, the form of the words, repetitionof words and phrases. The secondary interjections were alah, alaah, adhuh, wadhuh, oallah, wo lha, e lha kok, la kok, lha wong, adhuh-adhuh, mak cles, ora lidhok, astagfirullah!, astaga. The interjections forms in the novel Donyane Wong Culika have the function to express a sense of disappointment, upset, surprised, angry, shocked, awe, amazement, fear, marking the meaning of underestimate, marking remembered something. Interjeksi adalah kata yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan perasaan pembicara. Interjeksi ini digunakan oleh penulis novel untuk menyampaikan emosi atau perasaan yang tidak hanya digambarkan melalui kata-kata atau kalimat, namun juga dapat disampaikan dengan bentuk kata yang lain yaitu interjeksi. Penelitian yang berjudul ‘Interjeksi dalam Novel Donyane Wong Culika’ Karya Suparta Brata ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan bentuk-bentuk dan fungsi interjeksi yang digunakan dalam novel Donyane Wong Culika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif.  Data penelitian diperoleh dengan metode simak dan  teknik catat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam novel Donyane Wong Culika  terdapat  2 bentuk interjeksi yaitu (1) primer, yaitu o, e, ah, lo, lha,  lho, wo, wah, heh) dan (2) sekunder, yang berbentuk kata, perulangan kata, dan frasa. Interjeksi sekunder tersebut yaitualah, alaah,adhuh, wadhuh,oallah, wo lha, e lha  kok, la kok, lha wong, adhuh-adhuh, mak cles, ora lidhok, astagfirullah!, astaga. Bentuk interjeksi dalam novel Donyane Wong Culika  memiliki fungsi untuk mengungkapkan rasa kecewa, kesal, heran, marah, kaget, kekaguman, takjub, ketakutan, menandai makna penyangatan, menandai teringat kembali kepada sesuatu.

Abstract

Freshwater lobster is a fishery commodity that has many advantages so that the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries has made Freshwater lobster a mainstay aquaculture commodity. As a result, the demand for Freshwater lobster seeds is increasing, while naturally Freshwater lobster only spawns 2 times per year. One of the efforts to improve the reproductive performance of Freshwater lobster is the selection of the appropriate maturation stimulation method. So it is necessary to investigate several methods of stimulating Freshwater lobster broodstock maturation that can improve reproductive performance, namely fecundity and egg diameter of Freshwater lobster. The design used in this study was a completely randomized design, with 4 treatments and 3 repetitions. The treatments in this study were P1 (control), P2 (eyestalk ablation), P3 (addition of vitamin E to feed), and P4 (hormone injection). Based on the results of the study, the treatment of different maturation stimulation methods gave no significant effect (P>0.05) on fecundity and egg diameter, but was significantly different from the control treatment. So it can be concluded that different maturation methods can only accelerate maturation in Freshwater lobster broodstock compared to control treatments.
