Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan keterampilan dasar bola voli di ekstrakulikuler bola voli SDN Karanganyar 02. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitian survei dengan tes, khususnya kemampuan passing bawah, passing atas, servis bawah, servis atas menjadi fokus penelitian. Populasi yaitu seluruh siswa ekstrakulikuler bola voli SDN Karanganyar 02. Dengan menggunakan battery test sebagai cara untuk mendapatkan nilai, metode sampling jenuh yaitu total populasi menjadi sampel. Digunakan lembar penilaian untuk mencatat hasil tes, data dikumpulkan dengan cara melakukan 2 kali tes untuk menemukan nilai terbaik. Selanjutnya metode analisis menggunakan rumus T-skor serta diklasisfikasikan dalam 5 kategori yang ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa ekstrakulikuler bola voli di SDN Karanganyar 02 berada pada kategori sedang, Dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa ekstrakulikuler bola voli memiliki keterampilan dasar passing bawah, passing atas, servis bawah, servis atas sedang. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan cara untuk pelatih mengukur kemampuan siswa dan meningkatkan kekuarangannya dengan melakukan program latihan yang dibutuhkan.

Abstract

  This classroom action research aims to improve students' activity and upper-pass volleyball skills through the implementation of a wall-based volleying method. In the pre-cycle stage, most students showed low activity levels, indicated by limited understanding of basic techniques, poor movement coordination, and low self-confidence. In Cycle I, the use of the wall as a training medium began to show positive effects, including increased ball-contact frequency, improved coordination, and greater student focus during practice. By Cycle II, students demonstrated significant improvement in activity levels, marked by increased independence during practice, the ability to correct movement errors autonomously, and higher engagement in the learning process. The findings indicate that the wall-based volleying method is effective in enhancing students’ upper-pass technique and improving motivation and active participation in Physical Education learning. Conclusion Based on the results of the research that has been carried out through two cycles, it can be concluded that the application of the volleying method with wall media has a significant impact on increasing the activity and passing skills of students at Mlokorejo Elementary School Keywords: upper pass, volleyball, wall media, learning activity, physical education

Abstract

 This study aimed to examine the effect of plyometric training and sprinting drills on 60-meter sprint speed among elementary school students at SDN Jenggawah 04. The research employed a quantitative experimental method using a pretest–posttest design. A total of 20 students were selected from a population of 30 students and divided into two groups: an experimental group that received plyometric training combined with sprinting drills, and a control group that followed regular training. Sprint speed was measured using a 60-meter sprint test, while lower limb explosive power was assessed through a vertical jump test. The training program was conducted for four weeks with a frequency of three sessions per week. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant improvement in sprint performance, with the average running time decreasing from 11.46 seconds to 9.75 seconds (an improvement of approximately 14.92%), whereas the control group showed only a slight improvement. Conclusion, these findings indicate that plyometric training combined with sprinting drills is effective in improving sprint speed and can be recommended as an alternative training program for enhancing sprint performance in elementary school students.
