Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the use of anecdotal assessment in measuring the cognitive learning achievement of early childhood children in the context of the Merdeka curriculum at the Integrated Early Childhood Education Citra Bakti. The method applied is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. Primary data sources include interview results and observations of children's and teachers' activities, while secondary sources consist of documented planning and assessments previously conducted. Data analysis was performed descriptively. The research findings indicate that at the Integrated Early Childhood Education Citra Bakti, the Merdeka curriculum is implemented using anecdotal assessment, covering achievements in religious values, morals, identity, and literacy. The effectiveness of anecdotal assessment is proven in evaluating the learning achievements of early childhood children in the Merdeka curriculum, providing a comprehensive overview of social, emotional, and cognitive development aspects. This approach is in line with the principles of the Merdeka curriculum, which focuses on developing the creativity, independence, and uniqueness of each child. The use of direct observation in anecdotal assessment also provides opportunities for educators to better understand the individual needs and interests of children. By analyzing children's activity anecdotes, educators can provide more accurate responses to their individual needs and interests, allowing for the development of appropriate learning strategies that support the holistic development of children.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan permasalahan gizi kronis yang berdampak jangka panjang terhadap pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan kognitif, dan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Upaya pencegahan stunting perlu dilakukan sejak periode 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK) melalui keterlibatan aktif keluarga. Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berfokus pada optimalisasi peran keluarga dalam pencegahan stunting melalui edukasi gizi dan praktik pembuatan Pemberian Makanan Tambahan (PMT) berbahan lokal. Metode kegiatan meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik pengolahan PMT yang melibatkan ibu hamil, orang tua balita, guru PAUD, dan kader posyandu. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta mengenai pentingnya pemenuhan gizi pada 1000 HPK serta pemanfaatan bahan pangan lokal sebagai sumber gizi anak. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat peran keluarga dan masyarakat sebagai garda terdepan dalam pencegahan stunting.

Abstract

Bokashi fertilizer is an organic fertilizer produced through the fermentation of organic materials with the assistance of Effective Microorganisms (EM-4), which functions to improve soil fertility and crop productivity. This activity aimed to provide education and practical skills to the community of Ngedukelu Village in utilizing local organic waste as bokashi fertilizer, so that it can serve as an alternative to inorganic fertilizers in horticultural crop cultivation. The method applied was a participatory approach through a series of extension activities, training sessions, hands-on practice, and field assistance. The raw materials for bokashi fertilizer were sourced from easily available local organic waste, such as livestock manure, rice husks, straw, and household vegetable waste. The results showed that the produced bokashi fertilizer had good maturity characteristics, indicated by a dark brown to blackish color, a crumbly texture, a distinctive fermented odor, and the appearance of white filaments as indicators of microbial activity. Application of bokashi fertilizer to horticultural crops such as chili, mustard greens, and legumes demonstrated improved plant growth, greener leaves, and greater resistance to pest attacks. In addition to increasing crop productivity, this activity provided environmental benefits by reducing organic waste and economic benefits through lowering agricultural production costs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru dalam menerapkan metode bercerita untuk meningkatkan aspek bahasa anak usia dini di TKK Bunda Pengantara Rahmat Ngedukelu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian kepala sekolah dan guru kelas B, serta objek penelitian berupa kemampuan bahasa anak usia 4–6 tahun yang meliputi kemampuan menyimak, berbicara, dan penguasaan kosakata. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan rekam catat. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada 5  anak masih mengalami keterlambatan dalam perkembangan bahasa, seperti keterbatasan kosakata, pengucapan kata yang kurang jelas, dan kesulitan menceritakan kembali cerita. Penerapan metode bercerita dengan strategi yang tepat, seperti pemilihan cerita sesuai usia anak, penggunaan media buku cerita bergambar, variasi intonasi suara, serta pelibatan aktif anak dalam kegiatan tanya jawab dan menceritakan ulang, terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak. Metode bercerita juga membantu meningkatkan fokus, daya ingat, serta keberanian anak dalam berkomunikasi. Dengan demikian, metode bercerita yang diterapkan secara terencana, menarik, dan berkesinambungan dapat menjadi strategi efektif guru dalam mengembangkan aspek bahasa anak usia dini.
