Abstract

This research aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the implementation of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) intervention in assisting parents in enhancing their trust and openness attitudes. The research methodology employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. The study focused on a single-family subject with a child on the autism spectrum. The CBT technique utilized was cognitive restructuring, comprising four steps: identifying the root problem, recognizing emerging feelings, managing erroneous or negative thought patterns, and forming new thought patterns. The treatment spanned four days, consisting of four sessions. The research findings indicate that through the application of CBT, parents experienced a shift in their attitudes towards understanding, awareness, and initiating interaction with their autistic child within the home environment in line with trust and openness towards their surroundings. However, parents have yet to consistently exhibit the trust they possess and still attempt interactions in environments of limited scope or low traffic, thus necessitating the need for parental trust management and consistency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi efektivitas program pelatihan vokasional tata boga dengan model Teaching Factory (TEFA) bagi siswa tunagrahita di SLBN A Citeureup, Kota Cimahi. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu, penelitian melibatkan 30 siswa tunagrahita dan dua guru. Program berfokus pada pengembangan keterampilan pembuatan brownies melalui kolaborasi dengan mitra industri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan vokasional siswa, dengan rata-rata peningkatan skor 39,72% dari asesmen awal ke evaluasi akhir. Kompetensi guru dalam menerapkan model TEFA dan keterampilan tata boga juga meningkat sebesar 11,69%. Implementasi model TEFA terbukti efektif dalam memberikan pengalaman belajar autentik dan meningkatkan kesiapan kerja siswa. Dampak sosial dan ekonomi program menunjukkan potensi peningkatan kualitas hidup siswa tunagrahita, termasuk peningkatan kepercayaan diri dan potensi kemandirian ekonomi. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model pendidikan vokasional inklusif yang efektif dan dapat diadaptasi untuk siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Rekomendasi meliputi perluasan skala program, diversifikasi keterampilan vokasional, dan penguatan kerjasama dengan industri untuk meningkatkan peluang kerja bagi lulusan
