Abstract

Scalp disease is usually general in nature which tends to be ignored by sufferers because it is often considered harmless. This is a major factor slow to detect scalp disease so that if left untreated, the sufferer can be affected by acute scalp disease, which is very dangerous. This research builds an expert system to diagnose scalp disease earlier based on the symptoms that appear so that it is expected to assist medical personnel in identifying types of diseases, prevention solutions, and optimal treatment. This research used the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method, which combines similarity methods Similarity Measure introduced by Tversky with 10 types of diseases, 29 symptoms consisting of 110 cases of scalp disease. The results obtained in this study are a diagnosis of scalp disease, prevention solutions, and treatment. From the research, the conclusions are a diagnosis of scalp disease, prevention solutions, and treatment

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital marketing and branding implementation on increasing sales andcompetitive advantage in MSMEs fostered by PT. PHR in Riau. Digital marketing includes the use of various onlineplatforms for promotion, while branding focuses on building a positive image and brand loyalty. The method used isquantitative research with multiple linear regression analysis techniques processed using SPSS 29 software. The resultsof the study show that branding has a more significant effect on increasing sales (62.8%) and competitive advantage(113.7%) compared to digital marketing, which only contributed 13% and 22.3% respectively. Prerequisite testsincluding normality, heteroscedasticity, and linearity tests show that the data used meets the criteria for statisticalanalysis. The main conclusion of this study is that MSMEs who want to increase their competitiveness in the digital eraneed to prioritize the development of branding strategies, although digital marketing remains an important component.This study provides practical implications for MSMEs in utilizing digital technology to improve their businessperformance.

Abstract

Azzahra Kemojo Duri is one of the MSMEs located in Duri, Mandau sub-district, Bengkalis district, Riau province which is engaged in the culinary field, specifically producing Kemojo cakes. Along the way,  Azzahra Kemojo Duri’s MSME had difficulties in increasing its production value due to one of the factors regarding visual identity which was not well known to the public. Through needs analysis, it was found that so far Azzahra Kemojo Duri did not have a specific design concept, so consumers are more familiar with the owner's name than the visual brand name. Therefore, it is necessary to design a visual identity design by applying the design thinking method. The use of the design thinking method in this study aims to collect and manage data systematically to produce logos and packaging designs that are attractive and appropriate for use. The results of designing this visual identity are in accordance with what is needed by MSMEs, namely in the form of logos and product packaging. The result of further application of the logo design is that it can be applied in the form of stickers designs and also flyer
