Abstract

Setiap daerah memiliki kearifan lokal masing-masing. Kearifan lokal itu diperlukan untuk keberlangsungan kehidupan sosial di masyarakat. Begitu pula pada masyarakat Melayu di Padang Tikar, Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat . Komunitas ini memiliki kearifan local, bekeranjap. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tradisi bekeranjap masyarakat Melayu di Padang Tikar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam terhadap orang Melayu Padang Tikar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan masyarakat Melayu Padang Tikar melaksanakan tradisi bekeranjap saat menanam dan panen. Tradisi ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan prinsip tolong menolong tanpa mengharapkan imbalan apapun. Each region is characterised by a distinct form of local knowledge. The sustainability of social life in a community is contingent upon the presence of local wisdom. A similar argument can be made with regard to the Malay community in Padang Tikar, Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan. This community has local wisdom, known as bekeranjap. The objective of this study was to describe the bekeranjap tradition of the Malay community in Padang Tikar. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, utilising in-depth interviews with Padang Tikar Malays as the primary data collection technique. The findings revealed that the Padang Tikar Malay people engage in bekeranjap traditions during planting and harvesting. These traditions are based on the principle of mutual assistance, with no expectation of reciprocation.
