Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IX SMP YP PGRI 4 Makassar. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan total sampling dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dari kelas IX SMP YP PGRI 4 Makassar sebanyak 69 siswa pada tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket kepercayaan diri dan tes hasil belajar berupa pilihan ganda yang telah divalidasi. Teknik Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik statistik deskriptif dan teknik statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan SPSS menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif kepercayaan diri terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IX SMP YP PGRI 4 Makassar yaitu sebanyak 11,5% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 88,5% dipengaruhi atau dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach. The type of research is experimental, aiming to determine the effectiveness of using UNOKA as a teaching tool in understanding the concept of flat shapes among students of SMPIT Plus Al-Mubarak Borikamase. This research applies a pre-experimental design in the form of a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population includes all students of SMPIT Plus Al-Mubarak, with the sample being class VIII, consisting of 19 students. Data were collected through a concept understanding test and validated observation sheets. The data were analyzed both descriptively and inferentially. Based on the results of observations, there was an improvement in students’ concept understanding test scores, which was partly due to increased student engagement during the learning process. Observation results showed that nearly all students responded positively, with an average percentage of 95.67%, and questionnaire responses showed that 91.59% of students responded positively to the implementation of UNOKA teaching aids. The average pre-test score before using UNOKA was 67.63 with a mastery percentage of 0%. After using UNOKA, the average score increased to 85.79 with a 100% mastery rate. The average N-Gain was 0.5389, which falls into the moderate to high category. Based on the hypothesis testing criteria, it was concluded that H₀ was rejected, indicating that the use of UNOKA is effective as a teaching tool in enhancing the understanding of flat shape concepts among students at SMPIT Plus Al-Mubarak. This research shows a significant improvement in conceptual understanding through the use of UNOKA as a learning medium.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research, namely a research procedure that uses descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and also actors who can be observed. This research was conducted in Majannang Village in September 2023. The subjects of this research were 3 parents and 3 students who took part in non-formal learning. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are that parents' perceptions of non-formal education are very clearly reflected in the aspects of attention, response, and assessment. Parents really support their children in participating in tutoring. Parents' awareness of the importance of education for children is a priority for the smooth running of children's education. The form of attention that parents can give is to meet the needs of educational facilities and raise children's motivation to acquire knowledge. And students' perceptions of the three indicators, namely attention, response, and assessment, illustrate that on average students strongly agree with the program or method used in non-formal learning. Of the four answer choices provided, namely disagree, disagree, agree, and strongly agree, the average student tends to be at the strongly agree level. This shows that students overall feel very positive and satisfied with the non-formal learning experience they participated in.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: to find out the use of WhatsApp Group media in mathematics learning for grade X students of SMK Negeri 1 Maros. This research is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were students at SMK Negeri 1 Maros. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results showed that the implementation of research on the Use of WhatsApp Group Media is more often used in Mathematics Learning because it makes it easier to send material and attendance on WhatsApp Group media so that there are no more students who miss learning because the teacher has sent in the form of files and links. Interaction between teachers and students is quite decent in the use of WhatsApp Group Media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis teknologi digital dan siswa yang belajar melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-experimental tipe pretest–posttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 32 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 33 siswa kelas kontrol yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes uraian kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang telah divalidasi dan memiliki reliabilitas tinggi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan Independent Sample t-test terhadap skor N-Gain setelah data memenuhi syarat homogenitas varians. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor N-Gain siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (0.606 > 0.412), dan uji t menunjukkan perbedaan peningkatan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok (t = 3.587, p < .001). Nilai effect size sebesar 0.890 menunjukkan pengaruh yang besar dan bermakna secara praktis terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Dengan demikian, model PBL berbasis teknologi digital dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran pada materi matematika yang membutuhkan visualisasi dan proses berpikir tingkat tinggi.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education requires teachers to be able to integrate technology into the learning process, including Augmented Reality (AR) technology, which can provide visual and interactive learning experiences. This Community Empowerment Programme (PKM) aims to enhance the understanding and skills of primary school teachers in Balusu Sub-district, Barru Regency, in utilising AR-based storybooks as a learning medium. The programme is implemented through three stages: socialisation, training and mentoring, and evaluation. Training methods include face-to-face workshops, practical sessions on creating AR content using Canva, ChatGPT, and Assembler Edu, as well as technical mentoring. Evaluation was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and classroom implementation observations. Results showed that 87% of participants understood the steps for creating AR storybooks, 82% felt confident using them in the classroom, and 76% had attempted implementation at least once. 91% of participants expressed satisfaction with the training methods, and 68% demonstrated interest in continuing AR media development independently. Interviews supported these findings, with teachers reporting increased student enthusiasm and motivation to continue innovating, despite facing limitations in devices and time. The programme proved effective in equipping teachers with practical and relevant digital skills and encouraging the adoption of AR-based learning technology. In conclusion, this training contributed positively to strengthening teachers' capacity to create creative, interactive, and contextual learning experiences.
