Abstract

Anak usia dini merupakan individu dengan karakteristik yang khas. Anak-anak selalu aktif, antusias dan rasa ingin tahu yang tinnggi, dengan begitu mereka disebut golden age. Tahapan keemasan ini berada pada usia 0-6 tahun. Dengan demikian pendidik harus memupuk potensi anak. Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan, penulis memiliki fokus penelitian yaitu perkembangan aspek kognitif melalui metode bermain peran meniru binatang, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan aspek kognitif anak melalui bermain peran meniru binatang. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dari data yang dihasilkan melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelompok B dengan jumlah 30 siswa di Tk Islam Jerapah Kuning Bandar lampung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan kognitif anak pada metode bermain peran meniru binatang, pada saat dilakukan observasi persentase perkembangan kognitif sebesar 39%, setelah diterapkan metode bermin peran meniru binatang mengalami peningkatan yaitu 61%. Abstract Early childhood is an individual with distinctive characteristics. Children are always active, enthusiastic and curious, so they are called the golden age. This golden stage is at the age of 0-6 years. Thus the educator must cultivate the potential of the child. In the research conducted, the authors have focused research on the development of cognitive aspects through the method of role-playing imitating animals, which aims to determine the development of cognitive aspects of children through role-playing imitating animals. In this study the authors used quantitative research methods of data generated through observation, documentation and tests. This study was conducted in Group B with a total of 30 students in Tk Islam giraffe Kuning Bandar lampung. The results showed that the cognitive development of children in the role-playing method imitating animals, when the percentage of cognitive development was observed at 39%, after applying the role-playing method imitating animals increased by 61%.

Abstract

Language development is the most important aspect of development. This aspect of development must be achieved from an early age. One of them is the development of expressive language. To achieve optimal expressive language development, all potential can be stimulated by the teacher. This study aims to describe the efforts of teachers in stimulating the development of expressive language in early childhood at the Smart Toddler House Kindergarten, Tanjung Bintang District. This research is a research using descriptive qualitative approach method. Sources of research data obtained from primary data and secondary data. The researcher obtained primary data from the results of interviews with class B teachers at the Smart Toddler House Kindergarten and observations of teachers and children regarding the development of children's expressive language. Secondary data obtained from the results of documentation in the form of photos. The data obtained is then collected, reduced, described, tested for the validity of the data and concluded.The results of the study indicated that the efforts of the teacher at the Smart Toddler House Kindergarten, Tanjung Bintang District, had developed the expressive language skills of grade B early childhood through the storytelling method using finger puppet media which was carried out optimally.
