Abstract

Stunting merupakan keadaan dimana seorang balita mengalami permasalahan gizi yang ditandai dari bentuk tubuh yang tidak sesuai dengan usia yang semestinya. Selain menyebabkan keterlambatan pertumbuhan pada fisik, stunting juga menyerang pada perkembangan secara intelktual dari seorang anak/balita. Penyebab dari hal tersebut adalah balita mengalami kekurangan makanan bergizi dengan kandungan protein, kalori, dan vitamin D. Tingkat kesadaran akan bahaya stunting yang mengancam masa depan anak-anak Indonesia dari Masyarakat pun masih sangat rendah. Untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran msyarakat khususnya di desa dibutuhkan kepedulian dari setiap kalangan. Observasi dilakukan dengan Malukan pengamatan fisik terhadap keadaan lingkungan di masing-masing dusun yang menjadi tempat kegiatan Masyarakat secara regular. Metode Hadap Masalah ini diimplementasikan di setiap kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan di posyandu masing-masing dusun. Selain itu, riset juga dilakukan di 2 Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Desa Pagergunung. Dalam agenda KKN ini, penyuluhan Kesehatan terbagi di 3 dusun pada hari yang berbeda. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di posyandu masing-masing dusun. Selain itu kegiatan juga dilaksanakan di sekolah yang ada di Desa Pagergunung. Terdapat 2 Sekolah Dasar di desa ini. Dusun pertama yang ada di Desa Pagergunung adalah Dusun Krajan, dusun kedua adalah Dusun Suko Karang dan yang terakhir adalah Dusun Suko Kranen. Selama 17 hari program berlangsung, telah ditemukan jika hubungan antara stunting pada balita dan tingkat kecerdasan anak sangat berkaitan erat. Kapasitas berpikir anak menjadi sangat terbatas disebabkan kekurangan gizi pada pertumbuhan fisik serta perkembangan otaknya. Setelah melalui beberapa Analisis telah didapatkan bahwa kesejahteraan dari setiap individu mempengaruhi kesadaran Masyarakat tentang bahaya dari stunting. Stunting is a condition where a toddler experiences nutritional problems which are characterized by a body shape that does not match the age it should be. Apart from causing a delay in physical growth, stunting also attacks the intellectual development of a child/toddler. The cause of this is that toddlers experience a shortage of nutritious food containing protein, calories, and vitamin D. The level of awareness of the dangers of stunting that threatens the future of Indonesian children from the community is still very low. To raise community awareness, especially in villages, it requires concern from every group. . Observations were made with Malukan physical observations of the state of the environment in each hamlet which is the place for regular community activities. This Problem Posing Method is implemented in every health education activity at the Posyandu in each hamlet. In addition, research was also carried out in 2 elementary schools (SD) in Pagergunung Village. In the KKN agenda, health counseling is divided into 3 hamlets on different days. This activity was carried out at the posyandu of each hamlet. In addition, activities were also carried out at schools in Pagergunung Village. There are 2 elementary schools in this village. The first hamlet in Pagergunung Village is Krajan Hamlet, the second hamlet is Suko Karang Hamlet and the last is Suko Kranen Hamlet. During the 17 days the program lasted, it was found that the relationship between stunting in toddlers and the level of intelligence of children was very closely related. Children's thinking capacity becomes very limited due to malnutrition in physical growth and brain development. After going through several analyzes it has been found that the welfare of each individual influence public awareness about the dangers of stunting.

Abstract

Background: Unbalanced nutritional intake can affect the occurrence of disorders in the oral cavity, such as disorders of the function and structure of the soft tissues of the mouth, especially at the corners of the lips and tongue so that microbial growth increases due to the decomposition of food. BMI/U is a nutritional status assessment index that is often used to detect nutritional problems in children. Accumulation of bacteria in the oral cavity causes poor oral hygiene and causes the development of microbes that can lead to inflammation. Aim: This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional status based on BMI/AGE and the total number of bacteria in the oral cavity of children aged 5-12 years. Mthode: The research method used is observational analytical research with laboratory experiments. The research subjects required were 100 children, aged 5-12 years. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Results: From the results of the data analysis, a significance value of 0.028 was obtained (p <0.05). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that there is a unidirectional correlation between nutritional status and the number of bacteria in the oral cavity of children.
