Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is one of the problems that various fields of business must face. This study examines how the impact of work from home on employee performance and work stress is mediated by work motivation. This is due to changes in habits and internal conflicts related to performance experienced due to work stress. This change in habits has an impact on work stress and performance experienced by employees. This type of research is explanatory research which aims to test the research hypothesis. The research method uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires as primary data and research respondents to all employees engaged in advertising or mass media. The analysis tool uses path analysis with SmartPLS software. The results of the study show that Work From Home affects employee performance and stress and is mediated by work motivation in the field of mass media

Abstract

BUMDesa pada hakikatnya memiliki tugas utama sebagai mesin perekonomian desa. Meskipun demikian, tidak sedikit dari pengelola BUMDesa menghadapi permasalahan berkaitan dengan pengelolaan dan pelaksanaan aktivitas bisnis BUMDesa. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang diselenggarakan oleh Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Brawijaya Malang menjadi salah satu program yang bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat khususnya lembaga ekonomi produktif dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh BUMDesa Sukorejo Kabupaten Kediri, usulan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berkaitan dengan pemetaan potensi bisnis dan pembaruan model bisnis dalam mendukung produktivitas dan peningkatan kinerja BUMDesa Sukorejo Kabupaten Kediri. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini diantaranya dibagi kedalam beberapa tahap seperti pemetaan masalah, perumusan konsep, pelaksanaaan kegiatan, serta evaluasi dan monitoring. Pelaksanaan kegiatan merupakan penyelarasan dari permasalahan yang dialami oleh BUMDesa sebagai mitra strategis. Kata kunci— BUMDesa, Ekonomi, Produktivitas, Kinerja BUMDesa Abstract BUMDesa essentially has the main task as the engine of the village economy. Nevertheless, not a few of the BUMDesa managers face problems related to the management and implementation of BUMDesa business activities. The Community Service Program organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Brawijaya University Malang is one of the programs that aims to help the community, especially productive economic institutions, in solving the problems faced. Based on the problems faced by BUMDesa Sukorejo Kediri Regency, the proposed community service activities are related to business potential mapping and business model updates in supporting productivity and performance improvement of BUMDesa Sukorejo Kediri Regency. The methods used in this activity include being divided into several stages such as problem mapping, concept formulation, activity implementation, and evaluation and monitoring. The implementation of activities is an alignment of the problems experienced by BUMDesa as a strategic partner. Keywords— BUMDesa, Economy, Productivity, BUMDesa Performance

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Brand Equity (Brand Awareness, Brand Association, and Perceived Quality) on the purchase decision of Samsung smartphones by college students at a university based in Malang City. Quantitative research and descriptive research method were employed. This research used 100 samples of students who use Samsung smartphones. The sampling technique employed non-probability sampling, and questionnaire was used as the data collection technique. The research instrument test comprises a validity test, reliability test, and classical assumption test that consist of a multicollinearity test, normality test, and heteroscedasticity. Hypothesis test was done with F test, t test, and multiple linear regression by utilizing SPSS. The result showed that Brand Awareness, Brand Association, and Perceived Quality had a significant and positive effect on Purchase Decision.   Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Ekuitas Merek (Brand Awareness, Brand Association, dan Perceived Quality) terhadap keputusan pembelian Smartphone Samsung pada Mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi di Kota Malang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan metode penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 sampel yaitu mahasiswa yang menggunakan Smartphone Samsung. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non-probability sampling dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Pengujian instrumen penelitian menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan uji asumsi klasik yang terdiri dari uji multikolinearitas, uji normalitas, dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji F, uji t, dan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Brand Awareness, Brand Association, dan Perceived Quality berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap Keputusan Pembelian.

Abstract

The efforts of PT Bank Sinarmas Syariah to use internet technology and social media need to be supported with easy and efficient marketing and services. The bank has also developed an application called SimobiPlus, which is used to provide 24-hour service and enables marketing easily reachable by the customers. The objective of this research is to identify the effects of digital marketing and E-CRM on customer loyalty using quantitative descriptive method. A descriptive research seeks for the value certainty from independent variables with neither making comparison nor drawing relationship with other variables. Using purposive sampling technique, 195 people who meet the predetermined criteria were selected as the sample. The results of the analysis using multiple linear regression indicate that digital marketing (X1) and E-CRM (X2) have positive and significant impacts on customer loyalty (Y).   Abstrak The efforts of PT Bank Sinarmas Syariah to use internet technology and social media need to be supported with easy and efficient marketing and services. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of work discipline and workplace environment on employee performance at the Road and Bridge Technical Unit of East Java Bina Marga Public Works Department in Kediri. This explanatory research focuses on explaining the relationship between variables, i.e. work discipline (X1), workplace environment (X2), and employee performance (Y). Using census sampling, all 79 members of the population were selected as the sample. The instruments were assessed using validity and reliability tests, and the hypotheses were tested using F-test, T-test, and coefficient of determination test. Further, the data was examined using classical assumption test consisting of normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests and was analyzed using multiple linear regression. All tests and analyses were performed in IBM SPSS 25. This study finds that work discipline positively affects employee performance, that workplace environment significantly influences employee performance, and that workplace discipline and workplace environment simultaneously influence employee performance.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the effects of employer branding, corporate reputation, and corporate social responsibility on the intention of Gen Z to apply for job. The respondents of this quantitative explanatory research are 380 undergraduate students of Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Brawijaya; they were selected using simple random sampling technique. The research data was harvested from Likert-scaled questionnaires that have been tested using validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The research hypotheses were assessed using t-test, and the analysis were conducted using multiple linear regression; all of which were performed in SPSS. This study finds that employer branding, corporate reputation, and corporate social responsibility have partial effects on the intention of Gen Z to apply for job. Furthermore, the factor or indicator of corporate social responsibility that has the most effect is stakeholder dimension.

Abstract

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit Indonesia in 2020, companies had to find ways to keep the company going. Work flexibility and work motivation were the strategies applied by PT. Jakarta Insurance Global (PT. JIG) to maintain the company's sustainability. Work flexibility and work motivation allegedly have a correlation with work-life balance, which improves employee performance. However, the influence of work flexibility, work motivation, and work-life balance on employee performance is inconsistent, so research in this matter is needed. This study aims to determine the effect of work flexibility and work motivation on employee performance with work-life balance as the mediating variable. The population of this explanatory research is 100 employees of the administration division of PT. JIG. Using saturated sampling, all of them were selected as the respondents. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Squares. This study finds that work flexibility has no direct significant effect on employee performance, that work motivation has a significant direct effect on employee performance, and that work-life balance has a significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, work-life balance fully mediates the effect of work flexibility on employee performance and partially mediates the effect of work motivation on employee performance.   Abstrak Saat pandemi COVID-19 melanda Indonesia pada tahun 2020, perusahaan harus mencari cara untuk menjaga keberlangsungan perusahaan. Fleksibilitas kerja dan motivasi kerja menjadi pilihan utama PT. Jakarta Insurance Global (PT. JIG) untuk menjaga keberlangsungan perusahaan. Diduga fleksibilitas kerja dan motivasi kerja memiliki korelasi dengan work-life balance yang akan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Namun, pengaruh dari fleksibilitas kerja, motivasi kerja dan work-life balance terhadap kinerja karyawan inkonsisten sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian. Penelitian ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh fleksibilitas kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan work-life balance sebagai variabel mediasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah explanatory research. Populasi dari penelitian adalah 100 orang karyawan divisi Administrasi PT. JIG dengan teknik pengambilan sampel sampel jenuh. Alat analisis data pada penelitian menggunakan metode analisis Structural Equation Method - Partial Least Square. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa fleksibilitas kerja secara langsung tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan secara langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan. Work-Life Balance berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan dapat memediasi penuh pengaruh dari fleksibilitas kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan, pada motivasi kerja, work-life balance memediasi pengaruh secara parsial.
