Abstract

Abstrak Pemanasan global merupakan salah satu permasalahan utama di dunia yang terjadi dalam jangka waktu yang panjang. Pendidikan memiliki peran yang substansial dalam menyosialisasikan penyebab, konsekuensi, dan menumbuhkan respons peserta didik dalam menghadapi pemanasan global. Dalam mendukung hal tersebut, diperlukan bahan ajar yang menyajikan pemahaman bahwa pemanasan global turut disebabkan oleh aktivitas manusia, menjelaskan dampak jangka panjang dan pendek pemanasan global, beserta menyusun strategi-strategi yang lebih luas dalam merespons fenomena pemanasan global. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik pemanasan global berbasis challenge-based learning yang terintegrasi STEM, yang valid digunakan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran fisika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D), dengan menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahapan. LKPD dapat diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran fisika sebagai bahan ajar pendukung dalam proses pembelajaran yang diharapkan dapat membantu peserta didik memahami materi pemanasan global, serta meningkatkan kesadaran peserta didik dalam mencegah dan mengupayakan pengurangan emisi karbon penyebab pemanasan global. Kata- kata kunci: LKPD, pemanasan global, challenge-based learning. Abstract Global warming has become one of the long-term major issues across the world. Education plays a substantial role in educating youth about the causes and consequences of global warming, as well as encouraging their responses to global warming. Thus, teaching materials that explain how human activity has become one of the main causes of current climate change, as well as the long and near-term impact, and a broader set of strategies for responding to this phenomenon, are basically needed. This research is focused on developing worksheets on the Global Warming topic based on the challenge-based learning model, which is integrated with STEM, that are suitable for use in supporting the physics learning process. The research method used is the research and development (R & D) method, with the ADDIE research and developement model as the research model applied. This worksheet can be implemented in physics learning activities as a supporting teaching material in the learning process, which is expected to help students understand global warming as well as to increase their awareness to make some efforts in an attempt to reduce carbon emissions that cause global warming.
