Abstract

Abstract: Hypertension is a cardiovascular disease that causes the most death and is increasing every year. The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia tends to increase in all provinces. One of the non-pharmacological hypertension interventions that can be done is aromatherapy. This study is a literature review that aims to determine the effect of aromatherapy on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. This literature review analyzes 13 articles from journal databases, such as Google Schollar, Proquest and Science Direct with the keywords "aromatheraphy", "blood pressure" and "hypertension". The results of the analysis show that aromatherapy can lower blood pressure in patients with hypertension. In addition, the combination of aromatherapy with other interventions such as music therapy, meditation and deep breathing is also effective in lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients. The results of this literature review are expected to determine the most effective dose and concentration in lowering blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Keyword : aromatherapy, hypertension, blood pressure.

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease (NCD) and the main chronic disease which is the cause of death in the world and the highest cause of stroke and coronary heart disease. One effective method, namely monitoring blood pressure, can now be done using technology, namely telenursing. This study is a literature review which aims to determine the effect of monitoring using telenursing on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. This literature review analyzes 10 articles originating from journal databases, namely Google Scholar, Proquest and Science Direct with the keywords "telenusing", "blood pressure" and "hypertension". The results of the analysis show that telenursing can reduce blood pressure and improve blood pressure control in hypertensive patients. In general, telenursing can improve self-management in controlling hypertension at home. It is hoped that the results of this literature review will be used as material for improving the quality of telenursing.

Abstract

Background: Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest or OHCA represents a significant burden of disease globally. The number of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests reaches 360,000 events every year. Treatment for cardiac arrest requires immediate defibrillation to increase the survival rate of OHCA patients. One method that can be used is by sending AEDs using drones. It is hoped that sending and using AEDs via drones can increase the rate of AED application and reduce defibrillation time. Methods: This study is a literature review which aims to determine the effectiveness of AED drones for treating out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA). This literature review analyzes 10 articles originating from journal databases, namely Google Scholar, Pubmed and Science Direct with the keywords "Drone AED", "EMS". And “Out-Of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest”.Results: The results of the analysis show that AEDs delivered with an Unnamed Aerial Vehicle (UAV) system using drones can reduce the time for administering defibrillation immediately before health workers arrive. Success in treating OHCA and a higher chance of life, AED delivery by drone can also save costs. to send an EMS ambulanceConclusion: Based on the results of the analysis of several articles, it was concluded that AED drones were effective in delivering AEDs in cases of Out-Of Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) which occurred in remote areas or far from public locations. AEDs delivered using an Unnamed Aerial Vehicle (UAV) system using drones can reduce the time to provide defibrillation immediately before health workers arrive, resulting in success in treating OHCA and a higher chance of life. AED delivery by drone can also save the costs required to send an EMS ambulance. However, there are several obstacles that can be found from several articles, namely that sending AEDs requires a flight permit from the government, the design of drones for AEDs must be appropriate, and in bad weather sending AEDs by drone can be hampered. Therefore, further research needs to be carried out to provide a solution for sending AED drones during extreme weather.

Family is an important aspect in improving public health and the entry point in providing health services in the community and plays a role in improving public health. While in South Kalimantan, only 24.2% of families are considered healthy. This study aims to assess the effect of home visits by nurses on the level of independence and fulfillment of family health tasks with non-communicable diseases. The study was conducted in the Working Area of Martapura 1 Health Center and Martapura 2 Health Center, Banjar Regency. The sample of this study was 20 families with non-communicable diseases selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the research analysis with Wilcoxon showed that home visits had an effect on the level of family independence and fulfillment of family health tasks with a p value of 0.00 <0.05. This indicates the need to increase the implementation of home visits by nurses in increasing the level of family independence and fulfillment of family health tasks with non-communicable diseases in Indonesia.

Abstract

The prevalence rate of hypertension in South Kalimantan is at the top in Indonesia at 44.13% (Riskesdas, 2018). One of the causes of the increase in the number of hypertension cases in 2021 in Banjarbaru City is because the implementation of controlling NCD (Hypertension) risk factors still relies on health workers at health centers. The aim of this community service is to increase the knowledge and skills of cadres related to controlling NCD (Hypertension) risk factors as well as target partner services regarding measuring Hypertension risk factors, examining Hypertension risk factors and educating on the prevention and control of Hypertension risk factors through Posbindu non communicable disease (NCD). The implementation of this community service activity consists of two activities, health volunteers training and monitoring the implementation of hypertension risk factor control by health volunteers at Posbindu. The results of this community service were an increase in the average knowledge and skills of cadres in controlling hypertension risk factors.

Abstract

Stroke is a cerebrovascular disease that increases mortality and long-term disability globally. The incidence of stroke in South Kalimantan reaches 12.7% of all stroke incidents in Indonesia. Stroke most often occurs at the age of 55-64 years and 29.5% occurs in people with low education. Patients with post-stroke are very susceptible to post-stroke depression (PSD), To minimize the risk of PSD in non-pharmacological strategies such as increasing literacy, mental and physical health support. Increasing literacy can be done with health education. The design of this study used a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest one group test design. The research sample was 20 stroke respondents with a purposive sampling technique. The questionnaire used for stroke literacy used SKAT and PSD used the PHQ-9 questionnaire sheet. The results of this study showed an increase in stroke literacy with a p value of 0.001 and a decrease in PSD with a p value of 0.002.

Abstract

Stroke is one of the non-communicable diseases (NCDs) that causes major deaths worldwide. According to WHO, deaths due to cardiovascular disease are caused by 2 main diseases, namely ischemic heart disease and stroke. South Kalimantan Province is a province that has a high percentage of stroke incidence, reaching 12.7%. The incidence of stroke in Banjar Regency in 2021 reached 137 people and the number of deaths reached 27 people. Prehospital treatment for stroke attacks can reduce morbidity and mortality. The focus of prehospital treatment for stroke attacks is time is brain and the golden hour. Prehospital treatment for stroke patients is still very weak, one of the reasons being the lack of public knowledge about early detection of stroke emergencies. Education and counseling about early detection of stroke emergencies need to be provided to patients and their families. The community service activities carried out first formed a stroke care family group, then counseling and training were carried out related to the prevention of stroke emergencies. The results of community service showed an increase in the average before and after education, namely 7.1 to 10.2. From these results, education about early detection of stroke can increase knowledge so that it can prevent stroke emergencies using the FAST method.
