Pengukuran kinerja dijadikan penilaian hasil akhir atas pelaksanaan kegiatan terhadap target dan tujuan. Hasil penilaian kinerja Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Cirebon tahun 2020 - 2021 masih menunjukkan belum mencapai kategori “A”. Sebagaimana seharusnya melakukan pengukuran kinerja dapat membantu memperbaiki kinerja pemerintah. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah penulis ingin mengetahui pelaksanaan pengukuran kinerja di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Cirebon. Penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penulis melakukan pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara yang ditentukan informannya melalui pendekatan purposive sampling. Kemudian melakukan analisis data dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitiannya ditemukan dinas melakukan pengukuran kinerja yaitu berupa dalam bentuk laporan kinerja yang mengukur target kinerja dinas dan pengukuran kinerja untuk pencapaian target sasaran organisasi. Serta pengukuran kinerja dengan evaluasi dan monitoring berdasarkan evaluasi Renja atas perencanaan kerja. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dinas cukup sesuai dalam melaksanakan pengukuran kinerja, namun masih belum memaksimalkan pengukuran kinerja dengan pendekatan value for money.
