Abstract

Hotel merupakan akomodasi penting yang mendukung pariwisata di suatu daerah. Selain melayani tamu umum, tamu naratama adalah kelompok tamu yang penting untuk diperhatikan pelayanannya. Pelayanan maksimal kepada tamu naratama akan memberikan dampak besar karena merupakan sarana promosi yang efektif sekaligus membangun hotel branding. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelayanan khusus housekeeping attendant dalam melayani tamu naratama di Hotel Hilton Bandung. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Data yang didapatkan selanjutnya ditampilkan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil observasi diketahui beberapa pelayanan khusus yang dilakukan housekeeping attendant di Hotel Hilton Bandung diantaranya memastikan setiap sudut hotel bersih dan indah maksimal, mulai dari drop off lobby sampai kamar dan di semua public area. Seorang housekeeping attendant wajib memperhatikan setiap preferensi dari masing-masing tamu naratama yang menginap sesuai Daily Briefing Sheet yang dibacakan dalam morning briefing. Seorang room attendant juga akan membuatkan welcome noted pada kaca dalam kamar tamu naratama.

Abstract

Visiting a tourist destination frequently inspired the tourist to purchase the food souvenirs for one's family or close acquaintances. They desired to bestow upon those closest to them a memento or impression of a tourist destination in addition to an expression of affection. Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) is a popular tourist destination among both domestic and international visitors. Recognizing this opportunity, numerous small and medium-sized enterprises (SMSE) manufactured the assortment of foods intended for sale to tourists as food gifts. Many of these options, however, were "contemporary", in accordance with the preferences of the youth market, so they were not entirely "authenthic" of Jogja. This may cause confusion among tourists seeking the typical DIY food souvenirs. Thus, there was a need for explanation to various types of authentic DIY food souvenirs that were historic, authentic from each district in DIY and have survived for more than two generations, representing the DIY's identity. The authentic food souvenirs can also act as a gastronomic tourist attraction in a tourist destination.Keywords: Souvenirs; Food; Authentic; Gastronomy

Abstract

AbstrakHotel adalah salah satu pendukung utama perkembangan sektor periwisata di suatu destinasi wisata. Dalam industri perhotelan, pelayanan prima atau excellent service dimaksudkan untuk memberikan pelayanan yang melebihi harapan tamu dengan tujuan menciptakan pengalaman yang mengesankan bagi tamu sehingga mendorong mereka untuk kembali ke hotel yang sama. Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) adalah pedoman atau standar untuk melaksanakan tugas pekerjaan sesuai dengan fungsi dan alat berdasarkan indikator teknis, administratif, dan prosedur yang sesuai dengan tata kerja. penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana penerapan SOP oleh karyawan Room Attendant dapat menjadi kunci dalam memberikan service excellence. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada konteks penerapan SOP dalam mewujudkan excellent service oleh Room Attendant, dengan penekanan khusus pada Merapi Merbabu Hotel & Resort Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) telah diterapkan dengan baik oleh karyawan Room Attendant. Hal ini terbukti dengan banyak tamu yang memberikan penilaian baik sekali melalui ulasan online.Kata Kunci: Room Attendant; Standard Operational Procedure; Service ExcellenceAbstractHotels are one of the primary contributors to developments of the tourism sector in a city. In the hotel industry, excellent service strives to fulfill visitor expectations, thereby generating a memorable experience that encourages repeat visits to the place. A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is a guideline for executing work tasks in alignment with functions and tools, based on technical and administrative indications and procedures that conform to established work protocols. This research investigated how the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) by Room Attendant staff might be crucial in achieving excellent customer service. This study examined the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to achieve service excellence by Room Attendants, specifically at the Merapi Merbabu Hotel & Resort Yogyakarta. The research found that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has been effectively executed by Room Attendants staff.
