Abstract

Abstrak Latar belakang: Tenaga medis dalam hal ini perawat merasakan berbagai dampak yang disebabkan oleh pandemi covid-19 salah satunya yaitu kecemasan. Kondisi paska pandemi membutuhkan peranan tenaga medis diantaranya adalah perawat dengan tanggung jawab baru yaitu pengendalian dan pengontrolan infeksi. Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan dan kualitas hidup pada perawat yang merawat pasien Covid-19 di Rsup Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan rancangan analitik menggunakan pendekatan Cross sectional. Hasil: Dari hasil analisis menggunakan uji korelasi gamma (G), didapatkan nilai P-Value = 0,143 (p<0,05). Pembahasan: Tingkat kecemasan dan kualitas hidup pada individu dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang akan mempengaruhi masing-masing variabel. Kesimpulan: Pada penelitian ini tidak ditemukan adanya hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan dengan kualitas hidup pada perawat yang merawat pasien Covid-19 di RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado Kata kunci: Covid-19, Tingkat Kecemasan, Kualitas Hidup, Perawat. Abstract Background: The Covid-19 epidemic has had a significant impact on all facets of human life. Anxiety is one of the effects the Covid-19 epidemic has on medical professionals, in this case nurses. Following a pandemic, medical professionals, especially nurses, must take on new roles involving infection control and management. Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between nurses' levels of anxiety and quality of life while providing care to Covid-19 patients at Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado Hospital. Method: A cross-sectional design was used for this study's analytical design. Results: The analysis using the gamma correlation test (G) produced a P-Value of 0.143 (p<0.05), showing that there is no correlation between anxiety and quality of life. Discussion: Individuals' levels of anxiety and quality of life are influenced by several of various factors that will affect each variable. Kesimpulan: In this study, there is no correlation between nurses providing care to Covid-19 patients at Prof. Dr. R.D. Kandou Manado's anxiety levels and quality of life. Abstract

Abstract Background: Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, with an increase in anxiety rates among patients with cardiovascular diseases such as CAD. Anxiety is a problem that nurses have to manage due to the negative consequences that can result from anxiety. As a result, in addition to pharmacological therapy, nurses can use complementary therapies to help patients overcome anxiety-related problems which is aromatherapy and music therapy. Purpose : This case study aims to analyze the action of implementing aromatherapy alongside with music therapy to reduce anxiety. Method : The research method used was a case study of patients with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) at the Intensive Cardiology Care Unit (ICCU) of Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. The data collection technique used was continuously observation, physical examination, and several research articles. Results : The application of lavender aromatherapy combined with music therapy for three consecutive days in the ICCU appears to reduce patient anxiety, as evidenced by a pre-intervention SAI score of 55 (moderate anxiety) and a post-intervention score of 42 (mild anxiety). Conclusion : The use of aromatherapy combined with music therapy might work as one of an option for reducing anxiety in cardiovascular disease patients.
