Abstract

The aim of this community service is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to be able to create attractive and professional brochures using the Adobe Photoshop application. The method used was SCL (Student Centered Learning) face to face/directly at the Al Munadi High School location for 20 Al Munadi High School students. As a result of the training in making brochures using Adobe Photoshop, the students understood and were able to make brochures as expected.

Abstract

At present the world of coffee in Indonesia is showing very rapid development. This is evidenced by the mushrooming of cafes or shops selling drinks from processed coffee throughout the archipelago. Coffee shop business owners are expected to increasingly compete for customers by serving quality coffee drinks, affordable prices and simpler outlet concepts. To maintain the existence of the mushrooming coffee shops, Teras Kopi needs a new, strong and consistent visual identity in order to be able to compete with other competitors who already have a strong and consistent visual identity. Based on these problems, the writer designed Warung Teras Kopi's visual identity using a descriptive approach, namely by directly interviewing related parties. As a result, this study uses the Graphic Standard Manual (GSM) which will be applied to supporting media properly and consistently, in accordance with the vision and mission of Warung Eras Kopi, so that it can become a new visual identity in the form of a new logo along with a newly created visual identity design. with the values ​​of coffee terrace coffee shops namely coffee, delicious, simple, and comfortable.

Abstract

The online learning media that has been designed and developed is called Ayo Belajar. Online learning media is a platform used to deliver learning materials to students via the internet. This learning media aims to help students learn more easily, anytime and anywhere, by accessing content in the form of text and videos.The research aims to design engaging and user-friendly learning media for students. Therefore, the UI/UX design is developed using the Design Thinking method. The process consists of five stages: initial product requirement, empathize, define, ideate, and prototype.Based on the System Usability Scale (SUS) testing results, Ayo Belajar received a "Good" category, with a Grade B, as evaluated from respondents' usage.

Abstract

Marelan is one of the 21 districts in the city of Medan. It is widely recognized as a highly visited area and is also the second most densely populated district in the city. Due to the high level of activity and population density, there is a need to enhance the visual identity of Medan Marelan District through the design of a logo. In the logo design process, the author employs both primary and secondary research methods, with a particular emphasis on the 5W+1H and SWOT analysis techniques to generate creative ideas for the logo. Given the numerous potentials that Marelan possesses, the logo is expected to reflect the unique characteristics of the district. With the new logo, it is hoped that Medan Marelan District will have a strong and recognizable visual identity for both residents and visitors, and will continue to support the economic growth of the local government and surrounding communities.

Abstract

This training aims to equip students of SMA Swasta Pangeran Antasari Helvetia Labuhan Deli with basic skills in designing and printing business cards as well as name label stickers, which they can utilize for academic purposes, organizational activities, or even small business opportunities. Additionally, this training encourages students to better understand their own potential and express it through functional visual media.In this training, the instructor uses the Canva application. The training method employed is an applicative or case study approach, starting with the introduction of the design tools to the participants before delivering the core materials. The case study method is an approach that emphasizes an in-depth analysis of a particular issue through detailed exploration.The outcome of this training provides participants with valuable skills and knowledge in utilizing easy-to-use, multi-platform design tools. These abilities will have a positive impact across various contexts, from education to entrepreneurship, and will continue to support participants in enhancing their creativity and broader design capabilities.
